To do all the marbleizing inside the trunk, door jams and under the hood, really shows the amount of detail. I'm impressed. I wish I could be there to watch and help these artists.

GREAT, GREAT, GREAT video.....it is Instructive, interesting, fun and through, and even for me, a basic, DIY, garage, classic car, common TLC guy. I do NOT paint cars as a profession and have only painted 2 cars as a hobby. BUT this video, while instructive and all about painting, is THE BEST COMMUNICATED VIDEO I'VE SEEN IN YEARS, ON ANY SUBJECT. It even makes me feel as if I could paint a car as shown, LOL. But once more, I'm NOT a car painter. So I don't think I could. But "hats-Off" to the guy's who developed this video, {camera work, editors, painter's and host}. BTW, I'm a communication specialists in business....so I have an understanding of HOW EFFECTIVE Communication happens, especially "How to Videos." Nice going.

I’ve done 2 marbling paint jobs. 1 was a dark cherry red with the red/red marblizer and the other was a white/silver marble using bubble wrap and topped with a green candy. Both were awesome.

A orderly list of materials and a final show off to appreciate the job, would be the top cherry of the work. Great video.

The guy that taught me how to paint was doing this kind of work at a Maaco in Florida. I couldn't believe it when he told me. He also warned me about chemical bubbling. When the paint vapor cant get through the clearcoat when drying in the sun or heat.

Excellent tutorial...Wondering what the reason for using the large #80 air cap? It's the air cap size I use for priming. The gun I use for paint is a JGA 502 Devilbiss #43 air cap...would this air cap work?

I tried using that show clear usco1 this year 2019 on 2 cars and man it fkd us because it’s hard as a rock like nothing I’ve ever buffed. I let both cars sit 2 weeks then color sanded. First car barley got buffed out after 2 weeks of wool pads. Second car was like buffing a piece of granite. You couldn’t get a 2000 grit scratch to go away. the solvent was separating from the leftover puck, then it left rashes all over the car because the solvent never absorbed into the clear properly.
It cost thousands of dollars to reprep and reclear the car In ppg finally and I’m broken by this guys product. it finally looks amazing after I lost my mind and my money! FUHK
Great pigments but don’t trust the clearcoat.

These paint jobs became really popular in the mid to late 1990's. I'm guessing this was filmed sometime then? He said the Regal was a 1981 if this was filmed in the early 80's? It would be practically a new car.

When was the last time you tried to film in the 90's. Camcorders back then were not really good under different lighting conditions. You needed probably twice the light to get it as bright as an iphone6 could do on it's own these days.
