My stepdad passed away and left me one of these. It’s been many years since I’ve been out on the water. I used to ride for hours as a kid. He taught me how to ride and do tricks. Can’t wait to get it back in the water and rip some donuts for him. This video brought me back to being a kid❤
I end up shoping for a b1 end of last summer after taking my 16 spark in for the oil change code to be cleared and they hooked the wrong cable to the buds system and wiped my ecm completely out. It took a 1 month to get a new ecm and reprogramming from seadoo. He covered all costs being they are a licensed seadoo dealer, but showed the bill was $2400! I found a b1 for $100 a few hours from me and built it up over the winter. All new paint, motor, handling components, steering etc and I only had 2k in the whole thing! Only used my spark 3 times all summer and put 70 hours on the blaster with no problems! It is so much fun and with a 46mm single carb setup gets the same gas mileage as a spark! I've actually looking at replacing my spark with a b2 due to the spark hitting 8 years and a new long block motor running 4k with no labor! I can rebuild a 2 stroke motor for 600 with a new crankshaft and is so simple to work on!
Bent steering rods are a pain in the arse. Can't really compare anything with a B1. B2's are still a cool ski for sure. Iv been trying to get my hands on a B1 over here in Ontario but they are hard to come by. I have a SN Superjet 701, an X2 and a couple of Waverunners. Can't beat the Yamaha powerplant. 701 or the 760. Reliable as heck!
I found the issue with the steering, turns out the rubber washer into the plastic retainer was not connected. Pretty simple fix. Can't wait to take her back out this spring and rip it. Also superjets are rad, love to get my hands on another x2 as well. Maybe this spring!
If you don't mind me asking but how much did you get this waveblaster II for?? Im currently shopping around for my first jetski and there is one for sale near me for about $3500 with a double galvanized trailer and I'm trying to find out if it's a good price. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Loved the video by the way!
Hey thanks for watching! anywhere between 1000-2500 I'd say is a good price. $3500 could be reasonable IF it's absolutely mint, highly upgraded and looks perfect. I personally wouldn't pay over $2500 for one. That's my 2 cents.

We call them "Tiger Slaps" because they are VERY flat bottomed and slap the water. However, they're fun if they have the larger motor. The small motor is a dog haha.
I have green/white one that i bought about 8 years ago for 2k and it still looks like brandnew inside and out, but that's because i live in Holland Europe so it only comes out in our short summers, and is stored inside my garage and i ride on a lake only, so no salt is eating anything away. It's not the fastest with only 90hp, but it weighs not much so it's alot of fun to ride.

You sure that’s not a 1? Sounds like upgraded valves. I love this channel, I do wonder why you painted it that color.

How stable is it
not bad at all, definitely better more stable than a wb1
