Chain-nose Pliers
2 Clip-on Earring Findings
Steps To Convert Pierced Earrings To Clip-Ons
1. Remove the dangle from the fish hook. To do that use chain-nose pliers to open the loop on the fish hook and slide the dangle off. Repeat for other earring.
2. Open the loop on clip-on earring finding with chain-nose pliers. Slide on the dangle. Close the loop with chain-nose pliers. Repeat for the other earring.

I don't know why in my 31 years I never considered doing this. I'm prone to keloids so clip ons have been my only option. All my life I been crying about the lack of cute options for clip ons till my friend told me today that I can do this. Duhhh! Thank you for the tutorial!

One of my ears split years ago, I have some beautiful earrings so for years I couldn't wear any earrings and clip on earrings are very hard to find. Then my sister went overseas about 2 years ago and brought back some of these converters. I've had trouble trying to figure out how to use them, thank you for your video, it's very helpful, I can now attach all my pierced earrings to these converters.

Currently dealing w a keloid and found out I can’t re pierce my ears to wear my favourite earrings anymore, so now I’m researching options for the future so thank you for sharing!!!

I've already got my ears pierced, now I've got four piercings, but I also like to wear clip on earrings as well. Though sometimes, i find clip ons that are not so cute. This definitely helps!

This is really nice to know how to do this. I just won about 4 mystery jewelry, and I don't know if I would get earrings. I don't have pierced ears. So if I do get earrings, this would be the way to go.

Thanks for the tip! Has anyone found converters that don't hurt your ears when worn? That may have cushions on them.
Have you ever tried screw-back clip-on converters? They seem to pinch less. Like these on Amazon: amzn.to/2VvRI6m

I have pierced ears but one of my ears is slightly ripped down. It’s heeled but I do find it rips further with heavier earrings such as large dangling ones. I’m looking into clips as an option to some pierced ones.

hi, i just wanted to know, how do I convert stud earrings into clip ons with using a clip on converter, can i just do what you did in the "how to convert clipon earrings to pierced earrings" video, like just get pliers and remove the stud and glue clip on earring backs to the earring, would that work the same way? just cause i dont want to use actual earring converters. thanks in advance.
Yes it should work the same way. Try to find clip-on bases that are small and won't show too much behind the studs.

What kind of store should I go to buy those clip ons?
You can usually find these at craft stores that sell beads like Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and JoAnn. Or look online. Amazon also carries them: amzn.to/3PLuhAD

Hello I live in Pakistan most women wear traditional jhunka on how can I convert a jhumka into clip on plz my biggest worry get solve as I am afraid to get periceing
That shouldn't be too hard. You can buy clip-on findings like these gold clip-on findings with loops: amzn.to/3eV3uOG You can remove the dangling part from the pierced earring and put it on the loop of these clip-ons.

Hi Marcio, For such a nice pair of earrings we recommend having a jeweler convert the earrings. They will use the right metal to match the earrings.

Does that also work with heavy earrings? Do the clips hold them?
We're not really sure. We haven't tried very heavy earrings with these clip-ons. Let us know if you try it!

What about hooped earrings?
To convert hoops to clip-ons, maybe you could hang the hoop from the lower loop on the clip-on finding. Here's an example of the finding: www.firemountaingems.com/itemdetails/h20b4404fn

Is there an option to turn non-dangly earrings to clipons? I mean like some earrings go right on the earlobe if I'm making any sense.
Do these converters work on those types of earrings as well or is this just for dangly ones?
