And found out he was not gay. Met him and had the best day ever. We live 4 hours apart and actully not the same country. Men won't usually say we not ready to give you what you want until backed into a corner. Sometimes it's not about giving a woman a commitment, it's about us finding ourselves. What we want out of life and if a woman will fit in at the moment, or after we have accomplished that thing. Example, I don't complain about things that are issues to me I simply resolve the issue. Therefore a woman may never know I am actually making a change in my life unless we are already a couple. The guy you like may like you but see complications down the line and may not be expressing that with you. With a career change comes time adjustment. What if we met at a church gathering for the 1st time, flirtatious energy from his end seems to be present, and he so happens to take a creative candid photo as an avid photographer (without me noticing)? Also, proceeds to post that photo along with 2 other "artsy" pics from that event on his IG page days later... What would be the appropriate response to that specific post other than naturally commenting on the photo as other people who follow him noticed and began questioning to confirm if it was in-fact me? Keep in mind him having a "vast" following is a factor and it was hard to dodge and ignore other's tags. Is there a way to inquire and show admiration despite not knowing the motive, if at all, especially when there was no tagging on his end altogether or him reaching out for approval to post at least? Overall I wanted to communicate admiration without coming off too forward especially if he was simply posting a pic for "art". However, in-person I’ve also shown 0 admiration in later group settings to him for various reasons...more-or-less to not seem thirsty/nervousness/uncertainty.

Keep in mind him having a "vast" following is a factor and it was hard to dodge and ignore other's tags.
Is there a way to inquire and show admiration despite not knowing the motive, if at all, especially when there was no tagging on his end altogether or him reaching out for approval to post at least?
Overall I wanted to communicate admiration without coming off too forward especially if he was simply posting a pic for "art". However, in-person I’ve also shown 0 admiration in later group settings to him for various reasons...more-or-less to not seem thirsty/nervousness/uncertainty.

Dating apps scream desperation from both ends and they’re time consuming. I never listened to the exception stories abt how ppl met on an app then got married. Finding someone on sm i still approach with more caution than in person, but I’d rather meet my husband that way if i can’t meet him in person organically.
