Great as always, Rick! I love seeing Dan’s human side-it’s hard to get that out of his short videos, so these long interviews are a true blessing

Funny enough in the Uber today I was talking to the Dominican driver about baseball and mentioned Bryce Harper to bring up the church a bit haha😂

I really would love to understand how Dan reconciles anachronistic text etc. In the book of Mormon. I understand he tries to stay out of apologetics, but his perspective is uniquely an informed one.

I think it is a mistake to try to reconcile. Just treat each separately. I know in a correlated church, we love to reconcile, but leave things irreconciliable.

@@GospelTangents In other words, you have to admit that data doesn't support your beliefs. In fact, data doesn't support any religious belief.
If there is a way to prove God's existence maybe that would be from a philosophical point of view . But that God is not the the God of the bible nor the book of mormon

@@bartholomewallen7550 you are welcome to your beliefs, and I hope you allow others who differ to be welcome to their beliefs. You can come to conclusions based on the data, and I can too. But it sure sounds like you want to impose your beliefs on me when you say, "you have to..." Please don't try to impose your beliefs on anyone. You are welcome to persuade, but that comment seems more coercive than persuasive, IMO.

Really enjoy GT and it's approach to "inquiring minds".

I think a person needs to be an Isaiah scholar to really understand the issues.

He is doing all he can do to TESTIFY of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness
He Speaks in Plain and Precious Ways.
He Speaks slowly and Simply. He Surely Testifies of out Lord n Savior, Jesus Christ. Also of The plan of Salvation, this Plan of Salvation has many other names, Plan of Happiness, Plan of Exaltation, Plan of God's Mysteries Explained, Plan of Understanding,
He Teaches so much like a Patient Friend, a True Friend, a Man of Understanding, a man of Wisdom. A man of Experience, a man of Understanding,a of zknowjedge. C. S. Lewis once said most people wouldn't t want God to be more like a Grandfather and so much a man. Well here one is, also like unto Prophet Russell m. Nelson. Have a great day my friend.
