I never knew MCV was Egyptian! Interesting
Sorry but the MCV has to be one of the worst quality built buses Ive ridden on. Bits and bobs falling off, extremely plastic the hardest smallest seats, poor legroom. Looks like the interior is 3D printed!
Didn’t know that they were made in Egypt. The world is getting smaller all the time. Wonder if the Volvo chassis is shipped from Sweden 🇸🇪
MCV buses is made for very hard work conditions ,its also work in Alexandria as a double but with open roof 👍
Whereas in Cairo their buses are from elsewhere! Perhaps the Egyptian government could strike a deal to have them running on Cairo streets too and be proud of their citizens input into Londons iconic buses. Perhaps in the adverts by TFL there could be images of skilled Egyptian workers holding up signs saying 'I helped build this bus'
The batch made in this video was allocated to routes 43 and 134
I drive a MCV eVoRa most days. Best buses i have driven!
Not all London buses are built in Egypt some are built in Scarborough UK and some are built in Ireland and a few in China

My daughter asked me on the school run this morning. I learnt something new too. Bless her curiosity 🥰
Happy to see that their is Egyptian vehicle company 🇪🇬
Here in the UK, the most popular bodywork is made by MCV and Alexander Dennis.

Excellent very interesting video, I’m sure there must be many people in London that don’t realize their buses are made in Egypt 🇪🇬 I traveled on the single deck evolution model regularly a few years ago. I found it quite a pleasant bus in service.
Go Notth West recently started taking on Evocitis, Honestly, They’re pretty good! My local area also has Evolutions and also evoras. All of them are extremely nice, and I love MCV for that reason. Great video!
