@joebaumgart1146 what are you talking about? I didn't say anything about artifact creatures. And even then it's from colored spells. The only time anything is a spell is while it's on the stack. A creature is not a spell. Emrakul does not have protection from creatures. And yes while some artifacts do have colors again. Those aren't spells those are permanents

There's already so many ways to take infinite turns, it's like Emrakul is the first or even the first 20 of easy 2 card infinite turn combos. It's also 15 mana. If you don't win the game from a 15 mana spell, then idk what happened

@Onikirichan true but there are many legendary creatures that are uncountable, plus it's 15 mana. The trick is to not let Emrakul have the mana, so blow up the dreamstone hedron. But you're looking at it wrong. The value of Emrakul isn't the fact that it comes from the command zone, but sneak attack, snow and tell, polymorph. Those are the real reasons to be afraid of it and even then, just look at like a blightsteel. If blightsteel were legendary, nobody would care because case and point Phage the untroubled exist and there are so many ways to get phage onto the field without the downside and just ad many ways to make phage connect but how often do you see a phage deck? And she's just what 7 or 8 mana. You're looking at a card that is good, and there are several good cards in magic. Thassa's oracle wins the game on just 2 mana but you don't see people complaining about it (except cedh). Emrakul has tones of counterplay, so much so that doesn't see really any modern, legacy or vintage play because there are far worse things you can do and commander is a vintage format. Like I said if you unmanned emrakul you'll have the same discourse as world fire, it spikes in price, idiots online complain its gunna ruin the format and then you'll never see it, save for that one jhoira deck or in this case, Emrakul is a new eldrazi and stompy finisher. Oh no, it's not like white just got a craterhoof that arguable wins the game for just 8 mana while emrakul is 15 mana extra turn spell or a 15/15 that you cheat out.
Not to over-generalize, but I feel like some number of the commander players asking for Emrakul to be unbanned don't really understand what this card does since they've never seen it in play before. She and Griselbrand (also on the banned list) have for some years been considered the flat-out most powerful creatures in Magic -- hard to cast, yes, but easy to cheat out and abuse. In Legacy, the various Show and Tell decks as well as Reanimator make good use of these two among other broken creatures, and in that format they're essentially a "win the game" button on turn 1 or 2. I can't even imagine how busted Emrakul would be in a format that's far less interactive and filled with busted fast mana and enablers like Commander.
For the players that are asking for the unbanning, they don't play with degenerate players . Problem isn't the card, its the player. It only takes 1 game for me to know who is a scrublord, banning cards is fixing it by playing whack a mole. Deal with the actual problem, the player.
