First, someone in the video game industry decided they were for boys, so the marketing was all skewed towards boys. Initially, they were marketed to both, and there were about equal numbers of girls and boys who played. After the marketing switch, the numbers skewed, predictably, toward more boys playing than girls. Second, for the girls who did play video games, we were ostracized, made fun of, and once online gaming became popular, had so much sexist aggression thrown at us, that most of us went silent in our video game playing.

I am confused by the outfit. Considering the occupation of performer, it would perhaps be a good idea that the uniform that all cheerleaders wear are more modest. Perhaps not showing off their butts as much.
If it's something people choose to wear on their own, go ahead. But I'm think of this as a uniform for an occupation. Isn't cheerleaders traditionally wearing skirts? That seems like a good addition to the uniform to avoid having their butts as prominent. Some of the cheerleaders might be okay with the uniform, but if everyone is dressing equally, then being more modest is the way to go.
Obviously the old dude shouldn't take photos. But also the uniform should probably not be designed that way either.

    • @sarina76667
      @sarina76667 Рік тому +72

@@LiggliluffYour point is valid. From the perspective of the job requirements however, cheerleaders, professional dancers, and gymnasts who work in choreographed groups of 2 or more people tend to find themselves off the ground a lot. They don’t always find themselves off the ground by their own means either. Someone has lifted or thrown them into the air. Loose fitting clothing will make catching this airborne person or holding an elevated person nearly impossible. The risk of severe injury and even death goes up when the anchored person can’t get a proper grip on the airborne person. The material is of their uniform isn’t just designed to be attractive either. It’s similar to swimsuit material, so sweat and rain (if you’re at an open air event) is less visible for the sake of performance aesthetic, stays light weight and aerodynamic even when wet, and reduces the risk of injury when being thrown and caught by a team member. Even if the uniform includes a skirt, the skirt is short so that the excess material doesn’t interfere with the safety of the routine. Under that skirt is either the bottom half of a leotard or a pair of modest bikini bottom shorts of the same material that matches the uniform so when your skirt inevitably flies up you’re not exposing yourself to everyone. That’s why the uniforms are designed to be form fitting and made with swimsuit/leotard material.
The athleticism and risk of personal injury real cheerleading requires is on par with top gymnastics. One slip and that airborne cheerleader is on the ground with a broken spine and a snapped neck among other injuries.
I grew up in theater, opera and theatrical jazz dance. If we go by the motto “if you’re not bleeding before opening night, you haven’t worked hard enough”, just imagine what their motto must be.

Relationships are NOT transactions. Do not do something expecting something back and you do not owe anyone anything. You do something nice for someone to make them happy. If they don't make you happy, accept they don't like you, move on. If someone did something nice for you but you don't like them, that's their problem. Here's how relationships work:
"I did this for you because I like you"
"Oh, thank you, I like you too, so we can work together :)"

The thing about 'women being ready from their first period' is that some countries do treat that as if it is true, and those girls, literal children, have to give birth time and time again before adulthood. It causes damage to the pelvic floor and causes serious health issues, including and not limited to incontinence. They end up being divorced or abandoned by their partners due to constantly soiling themselves, and are considered unmarriagable. There's a group of volunteers who perform remedial surgeries for it, but they're sorely underfunded. Of course these men who want to claim girls are so ready at that age don't know about it because they don't care to learn about womens/girls' health, and also because they come from countries where girls/children have more protections, so this sort of damage is rare to nonexistent there.

Another thing the people who say that are ignoring is that puberty used to start much later, so when they cite Ye Olde Days, they are citing a time when girls were not getting periods so damn early that they were nowhere near fully grown. While the gap between 'getting first period' and 'being physically able to bear a child without it being extra dangerous to both mother and child' may have once been small, it really isn't anymore. Oh, and they're also ignoring that the first year or so of periods tend to be irregular and the girl may not even be ovulating, so even if you were only thinking in terms of viability and completely ignoring the creepiness of it, trying to make a girl of 13 pregnant would harm her without achieving the stated goal.

Also stallions can be wonderful horses too, but there's definitely a higher level of probability that they'll be demanding/difficult and not everyone is good with them...

@@haineko1989 All the stallions I've ever encountered (which to be fair is not many) have been aggressive and difficult. The other issue with stallions is they are much more likely to catch a mare in heat's scent and go tearing after them regardless what you want them to do. But to be fair that is my experience, and others may have had perfectly good stallions they love.

@@roselover411 There's also the compatibility between the rider and the horse on top of that - I was always given the "difficult" geldings or the stallion at the facility I trained at as a teen because the trainers thought we would "fit each other" as we're both "fickin' individualistic characters" xP The stallion was definitely the most difficult due to that heat issue tho, and would not be used unless when in the highest skill group the lesson seats were maxed out, but if there were no mares around it was a great - albeit definitely a proud - horse. My uncles' stallions were way wilder in comparison O.O

@@haineko1989 Damn, are you me? And also Polish hehe. I was also the resident "she gets the most difficult horse" person and I just loved it. I got some free extra classes and heavy discounts, which was really nice as I couldn't afford to ride as much as I wanted. It's like, all the good things that happened to me in the equine world was thanks to or related to the fact that I liked difficult horses.
My best lucky streak was one horse holiday (camp?), where I actually managed to ride between 6 and 8 hours per day for 4 weeks. The usual riding time was only 2 hours per day, but the advanced group didn't have enough people with the skillz to ride all stallions. On top of that, I paid full camp price for 2 weeks initially, and then I was allowed to stay another 2 weeks, with free bed and riding, in exchange for helping out with horses/kids. So the only expense was my food, but that was nothing, I also befriended an old lady who lived nearby, who agreed to feed me dinners in exchange for some money towards groceries.
The same "she gets the crazy horse" arrangement happened in multiple places where I used to ride. I just needed to prove I can work with a difficult horse, and within a month, I had all the difficult horses to myself. I think many trainers also appreciated a rider who isn't fussy a horse they get, because the "I only want to ride on " attitude is a serious problem if 5 people want the same horse... And where's the fun in riding low effort horse?
For all those dangerous horsies I loved over the years, I only had one injury - broken rib - and it was my fault because I forgot to take off the bracelet. It was definitely worthwhile, from money perspective and just because it was a lot more fun than riding a professor. Even judging fellow teens who started riding around the same time I did, I think I also learned much faster thanks to difficult horses. If you don't have the technique, those horses will not work with you.
My fav trainer said that it works for me because I don't fear horses because of their size/temperament (I rode a lot of Silesian horses, so hugee). There was only one horse I declined in my life, he was a total psycho, the only genuinely aggressive horse I have met. He was not slightly mean like "ohh is this your foot? I didn't see your foot there" or some occassional bite when you didn't pay attention, he was the I'm gonna send you flying to the moon and trample on you when you land back on Earth type of psycho. I rode him a couple times, but I could see his mind spinning and calculating how he can fuck me up. He'd change how he moves near obstacles (or corners) just to see if there's some angle to hurt me or to throw me. On third lesson, he purposefully fell to the inside corner when galloping and tried to roll over me - despite having really good stable ground and doing this corner multiple times during this lesson. So that was it, I was too scared for my spine to play along with him, I declined him after this and he got retired from the school. Some human psycho apparently leased him later, and seems like they got along fine, maybe this horse psycho was just really really picky.

So anyways, i encouraged him to just post an r/ask directed to women asking them what they want and he came back with two responses:
      1) women don't exist on Reddit, it bores them and they only use Instagram and TikTok
      2) Women often don't know what they want.
And it baffles me because if a woman says she wants a man who's funny and trustworthy and she doesn't want to sleep with him until a certain point and she wants to work as well then she's pretty clear about her wants. But I'm pretty sure the only instance he'd believe a woman to know what she wants would be if she wants everything he wants to "offer" in a relationship, which would make her severely mentally ill but that's not the point.
How about we create alpha females and spread false claims about men like that male orgasms don't exist and stuff? How would he feel if women only listened to women as these i wonder? Not too great i guess.

This is called Chimerism, and one woman was unable to apply for governmental assistance for her children thanks to the DNA test not showing they were her children. Fun fact: cases where mothers are seemingly genetically unrelated to the children they actually carried and bore exist, albeit they are very rare. The reason has nothing to do with prior partners though, but with an unusual and enigmatic genetic condition called chimerism.
A chimera is someone who has two separate genetic lineages in their body, which can occur in various tissues. Sometimes the reproductive tract is affected, i.e. genetically distinct from the rest of the body, thus leading to children being related to that lineage, but not to the mother’s regular genome that would be sampled by the usual methods of DNA testing.
Discoveries are usually coincidental, like the case of Lydia F., whose ex was proven to be the father of their mutual two children in the process of her applying for welfare, but SHE was shown to be "unrelated" to them and accused to use someone else’s children to swindle money out of the state. They wanted to take her children away and place them in foster care (iirc they were temporarily removed), even suspected her of kidnapping and completely ignored the fact that hospital staff had literally seen her giving birth to those children, nevermind the documentation of each of her pregnancies. She was also pregnant with a third baby at the time.
When she was due, the judge forced an officer in the delivery room as an official witness on her, because some benighted men think birth is a spectator sport and doctors are toootally known to lie for random patients to help them cover up infant kidnapping. Nevermind the myriad of other plotholes in that ridiculous accusation. Why suspend confidentiality within the confines of confirming two simple facts that are not really confidential anyway (1. this woman birthed this child and 2. court-ordered DNA samples were immediately obtained) by neutral witnesses who actually DO have a business to be in the delivery room when you can make a much more intrusive and violating decision?! The concentrated idiocy in this court is baffling and how this poor woman was treated is absolutely outrageous!
But the kicker was: that baby whom everyone saw literally coming out of her body wasn’t genetically related to her either! The stumped persecution finally found an article in the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine about a gravelly ill Bostonian teacher named Karen K., whose adult sons underwent DNA testing to see if they were suitable kidney donors. But much to the shock of the family, the results showed they were allegedly unrelated, even though K. had carried and born them all. She was a chimera.
Now the prosecutor thought the same might be true of Lydia F. and informed her lawyer. She was tested again, more thoroughly this time, taking samples from various places. Close relatives of hers were also tested. Her mother was shown to be the children’s grandma. Lydia’s skin cells didn’t fit her children’s DNA (all of whom were normally related to each other and their dad btw), but the cells of her cervix did. She was thus proven to be the children’s bio mom and a chimera. Lydia F. was cleared of all charges and reunited with her kids.
