Woah my playstyle was completely different at the last boss fight. I threw the lightsaber whenever the chance was and dodged to restore the Force. Found out that the dual wielding attack (or as I called it, the Fork) gives a lot of damage but it's hard to find the right moment.
P.s. Charlie is a god of Souls-like games though
The dual Saber is OP in that fight, you just need to make sure she wouldn't block it. Hit her with the Dual saber a solid 5 times and she's done.
MadGeoHero I didn’t use the duel saber, I mostly just did the upgraded force push where you hold r2 and dodged because parrying wasn’t doing anything for me.
@@theburgerking746 I played on Jedi Knight so throwing the lightsaber with parrying utterly defeated her in the battle after the vision. The last battle not so much but still enough good to troll her again
Toxin she got stuck in a wall for the battle after the vision in my game so I didn’t really play that boss properly
I one tried her on the second hardest difficulty through doing the Force Push on her (Holding R2) it made the fight really easy as she becomes stunned for a few seconds after that, which let me use the dual lightsaber attack and deal a lot of damage.

Maybe its the super star wars nerd in me but it irks me so hard when Charlie doesn't take anything seriously
I agree. He doesn’t pay attention to the story in any of the games he plays, and in some cases he barely reads the instructions. The best example of this is in is his kingdom come deliverance stream where because he skims the tutorials he has no idea what the fuck he is doing and gets mad at the game. He is fun sometimes but his lack of ability to take anything seriously makes these streams not fun sometimes.

I also feel like certain games * cough * Death Stranding * cough * are not really meant to be played in front of an audience and while cracking jokes and shit at every little thing that is happening in the plot. There was so much Charlie missed in that story it's crazy. And it's not just that game he's had issues with, there is no way that anyone can actually properly pay attention to a game when they're livestreaming because doing both things simultaneously demands too much attention. For example, Doom Eternal would make for a great game to play on stream but metal gear solid 3 or last of us will not, because you can't really absorb the plot when you xxxcummasterxxx donating 5 bucks in the middle of a serious scene with some stupid donation text.

I love how he mentions how he hates the double bladed lightsaber like a million times in this series and yet he still uses it.
He should have gotten the upgrade that fills your force when you heal. He just got the 2nd skill point for it before the battle.

My strat for dealing with Trilla is very simple and very effective. But for it you'll need the "the power of friendship" perk (for those who don't know, it allows stims to refill your Force meter too).
So to break it down, Trilla is vulnerable to force push and force pull, even this late in the game. So I exploit the hell outta that by force pulling her when she's about to use an unblockable attack, then I just turn her into mincemeat. My strat almost guarantees that you'll be damaged, which depending on your difficulty may be a problem (I was playing on Jedi Master). But that's where the power of friendship comes in. Every time I heal, I get more opportunities to just bully Trilla. Now her boss fights are a cakewalk
I absolutely BULLIED Malacos with the leaping heavy attack and the split saber. 2 times I was able to put on so much pressure I cheesed through his force push and got 2 combos on him in a row without any attacks from him
I actually spent like 1 hour with breaks on Malikos (on grandmaster too). He was quite challenging for me. I feel like that Lightsaber Damage trait has very good impact, I didn't lvlup it until Trilla xd

The Vader fight is so cool. Cause it’s not a fight. It you trying to survive. They played that smart cause no way you can beat Vader (with your skill or canon). Until it was the part about “Don’t kill him”. Probably should’ve just had him demolish the characters the whole time with no threat to him

The reason we didn't see vader do this shit before is because if budget and because he was fighting Luke mostly. He had zero desire to kill his son or go all out on him, not even in the last fight. As soon as vader discovers his son is alive, all he wants is to find him and have him by his side. So it makes sense that he's not going to be throwing all of the metal in a room at his son's head trying to kill him lol.
@Luka Chance No he threw his lightsaber at the poles holding the balcony up. He didn't use the force to do that.
@Luka Chance He was having an inner conflict with himself between the light and dark side from what Luke told him on the bridge before the fight. He probably didn't have much grasp on the force to use it much
@Luka Chance that's true. He was still dark sided then. He showed his power a few times but we didn't see stuff at this scale because the only big fights we saw vader in was with Luke and he wouldn't go this hard on Luke is what I mean.

Not really. It was built on throughout the game that the best choice might be to leave those force sensitive children alone to prevent them from being hunted by the empire. I think the ending would have been a lot better if the main characters had a last stand against the bad guys and realized that they were going to die, and so they destroyed the holocron so at least the empire couldnt get it, and then they get killed by darth vader or something. Or maybe they could even escape after that, it wouldnt have any effect on the overarching plot as long as the holocron is gone.
There's a sequel so they can't kill em off yet. Cal, Cere, Greez, and Merrin will probably die in Jedi: Survivor or if not then, the game after that. Either way, they'll definitely have to die

The reason, why this game fell flat for me aside from the first 2h, was the lack of combos you can perform, the Lack of ranged attacks, abilities, and the fact that they cut corners with other lightsaber stances like duel wield and duel sided. It felt like it cut a lot of corners and don't get me wrong it has the potential. the cup; is right there. EA ofc just filled it up halfway
but the ending is what ruined it. I had the same feeling Charly had. "22h of my work wasted?"
