The reason the mission wasn’t for nothing was becuase once your characer figures out that using the holocron is bad, the empire is already looking for it. So if you didn’t go for the holocron then the smilie would have got it and used it to kill those children or turn them evil. So it became getting the holocron to stop the empire instead of getting the holocron to use it
I know it was kinda of a dumb idea to rebuild the Jedi order when Jedi are being hunted down can't really train them when you got to keep on the move to survive

There was also the possibility of what Cal saw in the Zepho visions about how rebuilding the order would end with all the younglings being hunted down and killed anyway. It's shocking to see the thing you've been chasing for get smashed all of a sudden, but it does make sense if you take a second to think about it. It's about the development everyone went through along the journey, not the holocron in the end.

I honestly love Vader being really inefficient. He throws all the floor panelling at Cal and gets picky about which side of his double bladed lightsaber to stab him with.
The power of friendship upgrade is pretty much a must have. It refills your force everytime you use a stim. it makes the boss fights a lot more fun and a lot less lengthy
Well, in the meta, Disney probably restricted them from making anything that could change the canon which is why the story was “all for nothing” but in the narrative, you did it to keep those kids hidden from the Empire. It’s still a satisfying little Star Wars story!

You didn't do all for nothing. You saved those kids from getting killed by the empire. And as we all know, they will later become the resistance if it is their purpose. Like the young boy at the end of episode 7 this kids will now have the opportunity to find their own way.
That game was sick and i really like how they dealt with diversity in character cast, instead of shoving shit down your throat they let there be actual character development and good acting.
When Cere almost turned while trying to crush Vader, I low-key thought Cal was gonna have no choice but to kill her so she doesn't accidentally kill him instead.
This is my homest opinion but since Darth Vader was toying with her emotionally and physically kiiling her former padawan throwing her off the edge trying to steal force sensitives he just acted like he was being crushed specifically to draw cere closer to the dark side which nearly worked if im right than Vader is still my Favorite Villain in any movie or game if im wrong Vader is still unstoppable also the play style of the game is focused more on defense than offence so if you rely more on offence youd be killed again and again but you could of rolled out of trillas way before she struck than sttike good vid overall
