Just spent 4 days in Memphis BB's spirit is still there..Beautiful people great music ,the best band I saw was BB's house band..I met Dr Herman Green on Cooper and Young with the incredible band "FreeWorld", 88 years old still Kicking Ass on the Sax {he has played with the best in the world BB King, Sammy Davis Jr. and many more }...thanx for the memories I will be back
I love this so much. The brass band, followed up by the percussion, and steppers, give me so much life. He was a legend, and this procession highlights it. This was a great celebration, and thank you for sharing.
I got to see this scene from the intersection of Beale Street and 2nd Street and again at 3rd Street (also Hwy 61 S into MS) as I drove past on my way to the Tennessee/Mississippi state line a few miles down the road. I waited at the Stateline to welcome him back home to Mississippi. It was a touching memory that I was fortunate to share with just a handful of people, surprisingly, considering the crowd up on Beale Street. RIP BB King Loved the man and his music.

Awesome and very moving. A totally wonderful and fitting sendoff to a beloved man, on Beale Street where the Beale Street Blues Boy took his name and his career began. People all around the world were there in spirit to honour BB King. I'm glad I got to see him live twice in my lifetime, and I'll never forget him.
