3 x Foam kitchen sponges, or similar
White fine fleece or wadding

Fabric Glue
Hot glue
Polyester filling
2 x wooden beads (Blueberries)

I love pincushions and this one is absolutely adorable. I would like to make it for my friend’s birthday coming up. I saved a small cake container that has a clear cover and it would make a great presentation. I just received forceps I ordered which will make things easier. Thanks for all your tips.

I think it goes really well with the teacup and pot. It just makes you want a cup.lovr the idea of lemon meringue and cheesecake. Cant wait to see them. Right now I am not where I can sew but as soon as I am there will cakes.

this is wonderful! how well does the foam hold up to pins going in and out? Does it start to shred? Do you think it would work to put emery in the strawberry to make a needle sharpener or would it pack down well enough? Your work is so beautiful! Cheers from Canada
Hi! Yes I’m thinking if we can’t get it to break down in our landfill it should hold up pretty well! I have no experience with emery, I’m guessing it’s a powder or granules? 😊🥰

Hi Carole! I’m so glad you found me, welcome aboard! I use Gutermann Extra strong thread or Top stitching thread it is silkier than Hand quilting thread so is better suited to most projects. I hope you will enjoy creating with me!🥰🤗

Hi Judy, yes I believe it would, just remember the thickness of the foam, if it’s thinner you might add another layer? 🥰
Can anyone clarify how well these hold up as pin cushions practically? They're all so fun to look at but I can't help imagining all the glue damaging the pins? Unless you put them in horizontally?
