Materials and Requirements:
Assorted felt colors
Medium weight Heat and Bond
Medium weight fusible woven interfacing
Firm Cardboard, Matt board
Buttons and bead to suit
Perle Thread 8ply
Embroidery threads to suit
Fabric Glue, clear Craft Glue
Hot Glue (optional)
Polyester Filling
Dry Rice or similar for Weight (optional)

Another winner. So very cute. I also like your paint pallet lapel pin. No doubt hand made by you. I love watching your videos. You are clear in what you are instructing so there is no question of what are you doing. Your ideas are always adorable. Now I just have to get around to buying felt and seeing if I can get some of the board you use. And some glue like that. I think the Aileen's tacky glue might be comparable. It isn't a gel but it is for fabric. Thanks Lisa. Once I get that felt I will be super busy with all the projects you have put out that I want to make. Certainly all the pin cushions and a couple wall hangings. Oh dear, I'm afraid my quilting will get set aside. Do you think you can make more time? That would be a good one. Looking forward to your next one.

Lisa , My husband and I just watched this tutorial on our big screen tv. We both loved it. And we were talking and thought how nice it would be to make a Christmas village. He even said he could get me some of those tiny battery operated lights to put along the roof. With these type of cottages you could do all kinds of themes, Halloween ( which we our selves do not do but for those who do) Thanksgiving, Christmas Easter what ever strikes the mood and decorate according to the individuals chose. This is going to be fantastic fun, My fingers have been busy doing all of these wonderful projects. Oh and one more thing for the Christmas village in stead of the flower on the side of the door a Christmas tree with a few presents underneath. How sweet would that be? well I am off to make my village, Happy sewing .

Thanks SO much for the little Cottage pincushion tutorial and pattern. It is PRECIOUS! Oh, one more thing, the clear craft glue you use. Is it available in the United States? I would really like to have a bottle as I have tried other glues, supposedly for felt, and they do not work. Thanks!
