Excellent video of the Classic. My dad used to have this version of the Bike, and rode this myself few times. Probably few things you might not have realized, there are many advanced systems in this bike for that time. Front brake is of Dual Leading Shoe type Drum brake. This is much more powerful than typical Leading/trailing shoe type. For same brake lever force it has much better braking force compared to standard brakes. On the rear it has standard Drum brake with Leading/trailing brake (2 shoes). Also, the one you pointed out as choke is not really choke. That is simple float tickler. Think of small fuel pump which will flood the intake with petrol to start is easier. One of the special feature only this bike has, the Cush drive. The rear wheel drive has cush drive chamber and chain/sprocket does not need to be removed/adjusted, and guess what, front and back wheels are interchangeable. That is correct, just remove the cover on the hub, and put the front wheel on the rear. It can carry single spare mounted to chassis in front of the engine which can be used for front or rear. Also, little earlier version 75/76 versions do not have any exposed cables, including accelerator. All are enclosed making one of the toughest bikes ever. Being the owner of this bike I think you missed few points about it or the owner did not told you. 1. Front and rear tires are interchangeable. Though this owner switched to Pirelli but original tires could be interchanged. Also many people used to put in extra tire where engine guard is attached to the frame. 2. It has auto clutch which was way ahead of its time. 3. It can work without battery as well. Alternator generates enough power for horn and other light. 4. Downside of this bike is if carburetor is flooded then either you wait for 5 minutes for fuel to evaporate or take out spark plug and put in some cloth inside the hole and kick to evaporate the fuel faster. 5. The total kilometer on meter, wire goes to engine case and not on front tire.
Very nicely presented.. one small correction.. the company got defunct in 1996-97.. it would have been good if original looks were retained like rear licence plate, side chrome on fuel tank, front brake and clutch lever and the switch console.
Yezdi factory stopped operation in 1995-96 not in 1986.And if the company suceeded in developing 4 stroke engine for the same models the company would have been in market till date. But they haven't thought that much about the future and relied upon those 250cc petrol guzzling engine even after 1990's and also after 1992 they introduced electronic ignition before that CB points were used in yezdi models.

Bike did come with full chain cover, whichnis nissing in your bike and mostly due to the fat tyre shod on rare. The headlight n horn switch is not the original, its from Enfield Silverplus..
bhai this bike is modified because at the old time yezdi's didnt have any mirrors and black chrome finish they used to come only in brown matt colour i have the one oldest but not the failest
