My Mama was a Mechanic, he handles many bikes, when i was studying 7th standard (i guess in 96), during annual holidays i will be in mechanic shop, helping him by going and giving tools to him for repairing. At a certain time when customer gave a bike, it will take around hours or even day. The first one i drive was Yezdi Roadking and followed by Rajdoot with help of my mama. He guided me and taught several vehicles of those days like RX 100, Explorer, Silver plus, Samurai, Vespa, Chetak, M80 and so on. It was a pleasant feel and enjoyed, but unfortunately i didn't have any camera to take those rare moments. Dailyum enga veetu vaasal la oru 6, 7 vandinga irukum indha matiri. Appo Royal enfield laam field la ye illa. JAWA must give more importance to retro look with more powerful sound and should bring back ROADKING type of bike again to decimate other yesterday born bikes and bullets.

My dad's favourite bike. He had a 3 bikes. two yezdi road King, one jawa. He still having the original yezdi bore silencer and original key with lock and a headlight and danger light. Still he didn't used till so many year's. It's still new. ❤️❤️❤️

Me too. When I was at age 5, I handling the yezdi classic II MODEL 1982, Bcz my dad smoke while riding, I only gave throttle the acceleration.
At the age 14, I took that black PEARL individually.
everybody told mileage of 30 to 35 kmpl. But ours given only 25 kmpl.
In 2012, unfortunately my dad sold to one bike mechanic.
I am more jealous whenever seen our BLACK PEARL in roadside now a days.

My friend have a old jawa his grandfather's bike still in show room condition soo many offered even ten lakhs also. He never sold the bike. He used to say you can't get this precious bike

My uncle was a Jawa specialist and we had a Garage 1969 in Brigade Road Bangalore, he was a master in this field as a mechanic . He use to visit Ideal jawa factory Mysore often.
