Please… for the love of god, get the destruction spheres for Besaid and Maclania the first time you go there. Because if you don’t then you’ll have to fight Dark Valefor and Dark Shiva respectively which are EXTREMELY hard bosses. If you’re under leveled your only hope is to hope you can use Yojimbo’s zanmato on them. This goes for Tidus’ sun crest and Auron’s celestial weapon because if you don’t get them the first time you arrive in the story you’ll have to fight DARK BAHAMUT AND THE DARK GODDAMN MAGUS SISTERS

Whenever I played this game my Yuna only ever used 3 weapons through the entire game. From besaid untill the calm lands she used the roster of wisdom from the besaid cloister of trails. Then from the calm lands til after zanarkand she used the Astral rod (which I customised from a malleable staff adding one mp cost* and sensor) Then when I'd gotten all the aeons and sent belgamine to the farplane and upgraded it fully of course she used Nirvana from then till the end.
a thing about Bevelle , you don't neet to do that, at the end you will get a HP-Sphere and that counts as the Chest not the speer. i don't get it, but still have Anima
You made a mistake during the Bevelle COT. You NEED the Destruction Sphere to pass it because you can't go back to the Bevelle Temple after you leave. That treasure chest near the exit is the actual treasure so no you don't need the pedestal near the end.

Hardest part was going back for the Bev destro sphere. Yojimbo took care of the dark aeon after 30 or so minutes of lving him. Now my Yuna is 70% with her grid and almost 99999 everything. About 40 hours in so far. Man this weapon is insane if you teach her Holy and Ultima
So in order for me to properly collect all the celestial weapons, I decided I would start a new playthrough. I've gotten all the chests this time through, and instead of using no encounter weapons, I'm actually using the capture weapons for Auron, Tidus and Wakka. This way, I can work on Aurons sigil while I'm collecting every other sigil. Of course, by the time I'm ready for Lulu's sigil, I'll have to find a no encounter weapon, or the items to upgrade a weapon to have no encounter on it.
If you're on emulator you also need to check which version your playing. I ran over to Besaid in mine and there was no Dark Valfore because there is no dark Aeons in the US version. Luckily I didn't fully power the celestials. You only have to half power them to remove the damage cap on the Aeons. If you get Onion Knight plus the crest from Guadosalam Shiva will do 40k damage. That and in the US version Omega Weapon only has 100k hp so it's an easy win 😀
I just dropped 608,000 gil on Yojimbo for the 2 teleport spheres. This is my 3rd time beating the game. Im just now realizing that beating sin and getting all 8 Aeons isnt actually beating the game. Idk if ill go for Penance but holy shit could Final Fantasy get any better? FF7 will always be my fav though. This is a very close 2nd.
Gojira Tool You just get a good friendship with him. Make sure he uses wakizashi a lot with other enemies. I did a tad bit of research, I can do it just fine if I wanna.

Your characters need to be near max stats. If you’re not willing to put in that work to beat em then you can always Zamato Valevor if you have yojimbo

No, but you're not in a great place either. You can reenter all the Cloisters, but Dark Valefor and Dark Shiva will spawn at their respective temples after a certain point if you're playing the HD Remaster. These are very difficult late game fights, but not impossible. Good luck!
Unfortunately, you're going to have to defeat the Dark Aeons if you're that far along. A well-placed save and Yojimbo's Zanmato attack will do the trick if your party isn't strong enough yet.
Little late getting to this.. sorry about that. But that means you have the cloudy mirror and haven't upgraded it to the celestial mirror yet. You do that in Macalania. It's a few steps of pretty much getting a family back together. Here is our video on how to do it. You can skip the Magus Sisters, as long you didn't fall for their trap, but for Tidus Sun crest. Yeah you need to get it before you leave

You can walk back to Besaid, but if you're already to Baaj Temple, that means that Dark Valefor will spawn if you try to re-enter the village

No, as far as I'm aware, there is no New Game + mode for FFX. You can however port your Al-Bhed primer dictionary over from save to save though!
