Annalise & guys, I just read your explanation that this song (which I love) is about grief & loss which for the last few months I have know very well. It wasn't from loosing a person through breakup, divorce, or death it was from losing my best friend, my dog. Which I know some people would think is trivial. But this little guy, a Shih Tzu, had more personality than some humans I've known. Whenever I, or my wife and myself went somewhere he was on the console looking out the windshield (I called him my navigator) or he had his head out the side window getting all the air he could. In the house sometimes it would tickle me when he would do a running dive underneath his bed & then turn over & kick the bed up in the air with his feet. Many more things he did that can't be listed but we got him at 6 wks old and he lived for 16 1/2 yrs. I made him a coffin and I buried him out in our backyard. Miss him dearly.
