As a Caustic main I can also tell you that a good Revenant is an absolute nightmare with their ability and a great way to counter Caustic.
Facts
I had never got a damage badge and wanted one so much because my friends all have 2ks. This guide helped me get 2.7k on my main (600 kill Caustic) and is the best one I've seen. Thanks so much!

Sometimes when in the open, as a last resort, I will either toss a gas grenade or shoot a gas trap to kind of use as cover, the gas that is. This is yet again, a last resort , but has quite the positive outcome. You can use the Bangalore like smoke to pull off rezes or heals. I would not consider it if you are getting bum rushed though.

you can't shoot a trap out mid air, only once it has hit the ground is it breakable
Caustic can no longer block doors with his gas traps it's a bug in s12 and it's no fixed already and it's really annoying

tip: when indoors place the trap on the side of the door that doesn't close on the trap, it will not get triggered if it closes on it.
YES THIS! I can't believe I forgot to put this in the vid, traps are buggy as hell around doors I only put them on one side of the doorway
How does trap get triggered? Like can it be triggered through a door or does it need LOS?
Either the enemy sets it off by walking towards it or you can shoot the top manually n it'll go off.
Best legendary caustic skin to craft in your opinion?
Mad king is the only skin I use but that's only craftable when it's in the store.
But for regular legendaries most people will say blackheart but philosophers stone, third emperor & six sense are my top 3 after mad king

I have on colorblind mode so things are normally highlighted red are now blue
They need to give the tact more hp or get rid of that bs
I don't feel the nerf in pubs ofc, but in rank they take advantage of that nerf so much it gets destroyed so fast

I feel the nerf was too much, i miss using the gas traps as sheilds for my team mates in open areas by hiding the base of the traps behind rocks nd sto0f.
And i find alot of the time teams push into the gas and wreck me while team mates think i ALONE have the buildimg defended... Feels bad man 🤣
The nerf is quite bad. I don't know how I am meant to use his kit effectively anymore if my enemies can just hose down traps that I use as cover, door blockers, isolating enemies and locating enemies. He doesn't get a passive, his traps can be disintegrated in 2 seconds and his ultimate charges slowly and is a one time use.

Gibraltar is the best defenseive legend
Gibby is better in wide-open fights while Caustic is better in building fights (my opinion)

indoors he is really good, gibbys strike only works in the open, if you can trap a team indoors with caustic you have already won.
You goofy, his last nerf most definitely hurt him.
