Guest Bathroom Decor Update From All White to adding Color

- Decorating the guest bathroom , after painting and adding floating shelves. Using color to give this all white bathroom a new look. It is still a work in progress. Theres more to come with this bathroom.

That vase is beautiful! People sleep on Big Lots, but they have some good fonds sometimes. I love where this is going.
@@MacktheMaverick I got the vase from Home Goods. It’s usually where I am when hunting for odd treasures . ☺️You're right about Big Lots. Especially during the summer and christmas .
In terms of your wall and shelving, I'm a big fan of function (I am living that nightmare now😂). A towel rack or warmer would be great. If it's a guest bathroom, small baskets with extra toiletries people may forget might be a nice touch. I've used joint compound to patch walls, specifically holes and places where the outer layer of the drywall was missing (smooth edges, spray shellac to seal, then compound). In my limited amateur experience, lol, I've found that thin layers and wet sanding work well. Can't wait to see how everything comes together!
@@MacktheMaverick i smooth it on with a damp sponge 🧽 but the Home Depot man didn’t tell me to wet sand . Duly noted!
I would go with some more goods like your vase and trash can…from Home Goods..

@@ItsMyLifeDaralynn yes..I love Home Goods and since you already have the black color palate you can really use any color…like red or yellow to brighten up the space…and they normally have a huge supply that is color coded..
