This is incredible. Just discovered it. I don't know how he does it but when Ali is on the mic or when he's just talking I'm practically bawling. Brother Ali, so much love, such a genuine man, a total genius...
This was one of the best interviews I've seen/heard/read in a good while. That story he told about him and Slug was amazing, and the hugs at the end almost brought a tear to my eye; both the interviewers and the artist expressing their true admirations for each others. Thank you Dead End Hip Hop for showing me that there's still people in this age's Hip-Hop that can give me a feeling like this!
That has got to be an awesome feeling getting to pick the brain of an artist you like and be further inspired by their life stories. One of the reasons I continue to do music is for being able to give that same feeling to others. Shout out to Dead End Hip-Hop for doing what I feel is needed for Hip-Hop.
Great interview with actual prominent questions to the artist by people that generally care about hip-hop. Even though I never heard Brother Ali's music I watched the whole video from beginning to end and now i will definitely be checking out his music now. Good job guys,

On 4:06 what is the full title of the book by cornel west, that ali was talking about? Is it Brother West: Living and Loving Out Loud, A Memoir? Just want to make sure before i make a purchase. Thank You in advance.
Congrats you guys, this was an amazing interview. I bet he appreciated the well-thought out questions and sincere excitement to sit down with him. How did you guys manage to get him for so much time though??
haha Brother Ali is right...i mean i get excited whenever any of my subs uploads a vid, but when i see DeadEndHipHop uploaded something im like "lets fucking go!!" haha
I hate it when someone says one good person is better than another. Saying someone like Chief Keef is worse than Eminem, I get that, but when you compare two great rappers its hard. There both totally different and have two different music styles, to truly critic them both you would need to judge every rhyme.
sometimes he calls someone whack or something and doesn't explain it, but not very often. what people usually get mad at him for is criticizing something a rapper like kendrick lamar does and then liking something a rapper like future does. even though there's plenty of times he likes something a "lyrical" rapper does and dislikes something a "non-lyrical" one does internet people just dont wanna hear that People even got mad at DEHH for liking the 2chainz album, and for INTERVIEWING Drumma boy

Brother Ali is the 2nd best white rapper of all time behind Em.
I hate it when someone says one good person is better than another. Saying someone like Chief Keef is worse than Eminem, I get that, but when you compare two great rappers its hard. ***** Your point? Keef wack af anyways.
Nah bruh brother ali knows history that's a special weapon. And aesop rock is way better lyrical than eminem.
black boy dump
Brother ali, aesop, deca, ra the rugged man, evidence...for me EM isn't even in the conversation, but to each his own.
