I think that’s part of the effectiveness of analog horror, it being recordings of stuff tends to help us remove ourselves a bit, so when the creator can make some sort of unexpected move it destroys that comfort
I saw the door opening at the end and my mind was blown. The idea of having a scene where the viewer is desperate for the door not to open, and then doing exactly that just when you think it's over, was a stroke of utter brilliance.

As a camp counselor, this camp is great! Sometimes the kids find little holes outside the cabin that go under the floorboards, and they like to crawl in there and play hide and seek. We have a little issue though. Sometimes they don't come back out

4:38 I just finished watching Shifting Tendons and that one frame made me shiver *And of course who writes a comment on Gemini Home Entertainment without creating a whole well-thought theory on the subject* My theory is Barry Johnson was a regular man working as an Assistant activity supervisor, a couple years before the pandemic broke out (the Shifting Tendons pandemic). There were 2 cabins near the edge of the border of the camp where all the staff members slept, seperate from kids. The Woodcrawlers never knocked on the kids' doors, they don't think it's worth possessing little kids. The kids don't have much strength, much abilities, much height, etc. So every night, switching back and forth between the 2 counselor cabins each night, the Woodcrawlers continuously knock on the door until 7:00 AM, when they get called back to the Mariana Trench. Everyone knows what the knocking means, and no one ever answers it. But, after one of the counselors (Barry Johnson) sneaks some drugs and alcohol in and gets really drunk and doesn't fall asleep, forgets to not answer the knocking. He hears the knocking at roughly 3:31 AM, and goes to open the door. A bright light shines in his face, and no one can find him the next morning. He was declared missing, and some police and investigators thinks he should be dead, before they find him near a Shifting Tendons plant. They immediately know what that means. Barry Johnson, a retired architect with a little bit of sanity left, designs a bunker for him to stay in. He knows the doom that will soon come to him, and he wants to fix it before it's too late. After self-quarinting him, the Shifting Tendons kicks in. And there goes the retired architect camp Assistant activity supervisor, Barry Johnson. Wow that took a long time to write

Bill Blass I explained this in the other video but come on man does the jump scare in worlds weirdest animals not scare you? Like the other videos are mainly horror but not like conventional get spooked horror. Like lovecraftian horror is mainly psychological kinda like local 58 and Gemini is also psychological but also likes to have some fun with scares.
This series reminds me of a story that people used to tell at a summer camp I would go to as a kid. Every year my friends and I would spend a few weeks at camp, and the older kids would tell the newbies a story about The Creeper. The Creeper was said to roam the forest at night, and would snatch up children who ventured into the woods alone. The monster would mimick the voices of past victims and would scream for help to lure in its prey. I know now that it was just a story to keep kids from wandering out into the woods at night, but the thought of The Creeper used to scare the shit out of us. It's a little creepy knowing now that the story was based on the skinwalker legend.

I have several things to say. First off, every black screen, you can see the silhouette of a person's head. Second, they say that the cabins are burrow-free, referencing the first video. Third, the field on the accommodations transition is the same one from the storm safety video where the lights were. Fourth, and this is a stretch, but the blast part of 'our canoe rides are always a blast' might be saying that the creatures (such as the one in the ocean video) can control bubble streams (also shown in the ocean video) and attack campers. My theory is that the wood crawlers are using this to get kids to go to the camp and then take over the children to eventually overpower the other species, the underwater creatures, in order to appease The Iris, while the underwater creatures are trying to appease Neptune, which is named after the Roman God of the Sea, Neptune (Poseidon in Greek.)
Anyone else notice that this camp appears in the later mentioned game, Lethal Omen? It was a cool reference to this one. This series truly helps with Local58 on hiatus.

i think if i had to pick a favourite out of all these, i think this one would be super close to the top, if not number one. the world-building in this tape alone is sick, and the way the atmosphere is built here is genuinely amazing. right from the start, you just get this feeling that something’s not quite right, just from simple things like the use of language, it’s crazy. the whole tape just encapsulates all the great aspects that this series has to offer.
Last year I went to Moonlight Acres Family Camp and it was a blast! The hiking equipment was top notch, the canoes were amazing and let's not forget the best part... the harvest, never been to a better one in my life. The tales were great but I didn't know that skincrawlers were found in those parts, truly fantastic beings, just... don't answer the door... ...please... don't answer the door... 10/10 experience, would definitely go again.
Ngl, i kind of fuck with the idea of a camp having an established mythos, and the camp embracing that mythos so much that it enters into the camp's legacy. that'd be a hella cool gimmick.

This camp holds a special place in my heart! Me and my folks and used to go down here every summer. Those lights are really something! Made lots of new friends too, but they weren’t there next year for some reason.

Watching these front to back and developing a sense of the worlds history in my mind is an aspect of the series that I don’t think was intended, but it adds to the fun anyways. Realizing that even the Gemini logo is part of the world building, starting to pause on the still images of the presentations to look for details, I’m enjoying the ride :)

This series reminds me of a story that people used to tell at a summer camp I would go to as a kid. Every year my friends and I would spend a few weeks at camp, and the older kids would tell the newbies a story about The Creeper. The Creeper was said to roam the forest at night, and would snatch up children who ventured into the woods alone. The monster would mimick the voices of past victims and would scream for help to lure in its prey. I know now that it was just a story to keep kids from wandering out into the woods at night, but the thought of The Creeper used to scare the shit out of us. It's a little creepy knowing now that the story was based on the skinwalker legend.
I have a question.
Was the creeper some kind of Explosive creatur-

that's more likely to be a Woodcrawler. In the Home Invasion video It is said that they trick the victims by knocking on the door (actually, the aliens refer to it as something like "doing percutive noises" on the door).

I have several things to say.
First off, every black screen, you can see the silhouette of a person's head.
Second, they say that the cabins are burrow-free, referencing the first video.
Third, the field on the accommodations transition is the same one from the storm safety video where the lights were.
Fourth, and this is a stretch, but the blast part of 'our canoe rides are always a blast' might be saying that the creatures (such as the one in the ocean video) can control bubble streams (also shown in the ocean video) and attack campers.
My theory is that the wood crawlers are using this to get kids to go to the camp and then take over the children to eventually overpower the other species, the underwater creatures, in order to appease The Iris, while the underwater creatures are trying to appease Neptune, which is named after the Roman God of the Sea, Neptune (Poseidon in Greek.)

i think if i had to pick a favourite out of all these, i think this one would be super close to the top, if not number one. the world-building in this tape alone is sick, and the way the atmosphere is built here is genuinely amazing. right from the start, you just get this feeling that something’s not quite right, just from simple things like the use of language, it’s crazy. the whole tape just encapsulates all the great aspects that this series has to offer.
The "Famous Lights in the Sky" event bit had me rolling
Last year I went to Moonlight Acres Family Camp and it was a blast!
The hiking equipment was top notch, the canoes were amazing and let's not forget the best part... the harvest, never been to a better one in my life.
The tales were great but I didn't know that skincrawlers were found in those parts, truly fantastic beings, just... don't answer the door...

Ngl, i kind of fuck with the idea of a camp having an established mythos, and the camp embracing that mythos so much that it enters into the camp's legacy. that'd be a hella cool gimmick.
I just found your channel and had to watch all the videos in one go. The suspense youre building up in each of these videos is amazing. You use such a wide variety of source-material, none of which I have seen on other channels of this sort. Finally no robot voices and warning beeps. I hope you keep it up!

This camp holds a special place in my heart! Me and my folks and used to go down here every summer. Those lights are really something! Made lots of new friends too, but they weren’t there next year for some reason.

Watching these front to back and developing a sense of the worlds history in my mind is an aspect of the series that I don’t think was intended, but it adds to the fun anyways. Realizing that even the Gemini logo is part of the world building, starting to pause on the still images of the presentations to look for details, I’m enjoying the ride :)
