Canadians are class acts man. I’m learning the Canadian anthem now so I can sing it at events.
The Canadian anthem is beautiful...I've known it for years
if you watch enough leafs games you can memorize it lmao
try the real one, in french and english
I’ve known it for 25 years, watched so much hockey, growing up in Detroit, we had CBC and I watched Molson Hockey Night in Canada every Saturday
or did she just forget the words because she was nervous?
Thank you Canada for finishing my country's anthem.. outstanding I sheld a tear. Fan of both teams...
You are very, welcome....anytime neighbor‼️ 🇨🇦🇺🇸🍻
Ur welcome, cousin.
@Frank Singh I see what ya did there... neighbour... not gonna lie, that was witty.
From the USA to my friends up north, THANKS Total CLASS act!!
You are very, welcome.....Anytime neighbor‼️ 🇨🇦🇺🇸🍻
Very proud of my fellow Canadians for stepping up and singing the American anthem 🇨🇦
Canada is the cream at the top. God bless Canada.
Go Leafs and go Frontenacs!
@johne1972, thank you for having class, and respect when that happens!

Much love from california ❤
Thank you Maple Leaf fans. That was truly beautiful. Wish you all a great night and better tomorrow.
You are very, welcome‼️ 🇨🇦🇺🇸🍻
Toronto fans rock. Respect.
Usually that's a hard disagree. Today's an exception
@@yooowhatupribs frfr
@@yooowhatupribs Leaf fans most loyal and best fans in the world...thats what makes the rest of ya jealous lol
@@jonnyboy5357we are definitely the most loyal. That’s for certain.
Ask Kevin Durant what he thinks of Toronto fans
Brought me to tears. We love you, Canada!
Thanks, appreciate all the ♥️‼️ 🇨🇦🇺🇸🍻
That was wonderful. Thank you Toronto for showing us how it's done.
I'm US born and raised, but I can sing the whole Canadian anthem having watched enough hockey over the years to pick it up. My daughter can sing it, too. I guess she watched plenty of hockey with me when she was little.
Showing us how it’s done? I guarantee Americans would do the same thing, especially American hockey fans, for the Canadian Anthem.
This is awesome to hear about your daughter! I was at this game tonight where it was more obvious given the mic being cut out but often i do see a lot of people in the crowd singing along to the U.S. National Anthem here anyways
@@btgkg9639 we have done it before just about every buffalonian knows the canadien national anthem
@@btgkg9639 Americans too dumb

I’m a bruins fan but much respect for y’all Canadians for this
My first Lunchbox on the way to grade one in Toronto was Boston Bruin Bobby Orr - Now i did not know much of hockey But I remember cheering him on with my dad...The one that bought the box I did not even know he was Canadian till much later I still wear my dads type of white and gray with red stripe construction socks And my Bobby Orr box is in my closet
Thank you Canada. Thank you Canadians. Thank you Leafs.
No worries
You are very, welcome🇨🇦🇺🇸🍻
You're welcome, eh!
THAT is an example of true sportsmanship and Friends .
Always so awesome when the crowd takes over in a situation, esp like this.
Beautiful, Toronto. Very cool!
Absolutely
That's good. It's the respect not a contest
Toronto has officially gained my respect! Awesome for Toronto! Good sportsmanship! Hope you guys can do well in the playoffs this time around!
No one cares about your respect
That’s not happening
We'll hate Leafs fans again by tomorrow. By mid- May we'll feel sorry for them again.
Thank you for singing are anthem Maple Leafs love from USA

I was there and this gave me shivers. Proud Canadian and was definitely belting out the American anthem. Go leafs go. God bless America
This just reconfirmed what I have known my whole life; Canada is the cream at the top. God bless Canada.
Bruins fan here, Love that crowd for this.
As an American and huge hockey fan, this is why hockey is the best sport!!! I love this! Shows why Canada and the US are best friends!! Oh Canada, you rule!!! 🇺🇸🇨🇦
As an American I thank you Leafs fans and all of Canada. Class Acts. We stand together even if our leaders are a couple of boneheads. I also know your anthem and when I could when I lived in Pittsburgh would sing your anthem as well. I will always sing it now.
Joe Biden and Justin Trudeau are the best leader either nation has had in the 2000s.

Respect to Toronto!
The Great White North for the win, I hope to have the same opportunity for their anthem some day. I’ve known it for 25 years, watched so much hockey, growing up in Detroit, we had CBC and I watched Molson Hockey Night in Canada every Saturday
Just join in and sing it.
🇨🇦🇺🇲 grew up a hour north of Toronto, love my neighbors and how patriotic they are.. These moments make sports great... I also know the American anthem.
But I agree for atleast the Maple Leaf games, the crowd should sing both anthems. They put the words on the jumbo screen anyways. But many of us know the American anthem, it's so meaningful and Patriotic..
As an American I can tell you I know yours as well. In fact from a music standpoint I like yours better. 😉
Hell ya this is why I love Canada. Respect.
Anytime neighbor‼️ 🇨🇦🇺🇸🍻
Thank you Toronto for stepping in, you did the rest of Canada proud!
Well done, I love stuff like this in sport
2014 happened because of a technical problem and now again Toronto fans did it again.Go Toronto!!!
Thats what I call sportsmanship among fans! Thanks to all the Maple Leaf fans for showing us American fans there's still love, support and respect... Much love in return! ❤️
That is awesome, honestly I think any Canadian building would’ve done the same. I live in Alberta and we’d have no problem doing this
I believe it was Edmonton some years back that stepped in for this exact type of moment. Fans hate the teams, and usually the fans. But we're all wanting a good, respectful game.
@@seraphroy it was toronto as well, but i've met enough respectful oilers fans that i wouldn't be surprised if they did something like this as well
That's because you're just a dumbass trumpian troglodytes trailer trash magat you can't stand your own citizenship and you probably don't even know the words to O Canada
I know you would have. I know that you would not have heard that many voices singing your anthem if this happened in the states as very few of our citizens know you anthem. Some of my family came from Canada, so you will always hear me sing your anthem. I just hope that I do it justice. God bless Canada and God bless Alberta.
Love this Toronto 🇨🇦🙌🏾🙌🏾💙
Canada and America will forever be the best neighbors on earth ☺️
Minus that little scuffle in 1812
@@dallashall5102 Meh, that was with the Brits technically lol we weren't even a country yet.
Sit a spell, take yur shoes off y'all come back now!
Neighbours...😋
You wouldn't hear that happen in this country. I would sing it, as I know the Canadian anthem, but very few Americans know it, which is a real shame. Maybe they should learn it. Kudos to the Leaf fans helping out like that. It just reconfirms what I have known all my life and that is "Canadians are the cream at the top". God bless Canada.
Sadly you are right .
The world needs more of this.
Again? Well done Toronto, pure class.
That's right, they did this when the mic cut out before a game against the Predators in 2014-15 season.

Thanks for being our friends Canada 🇨🇦 we love you 🇺🇸
I’m from Philly but moved to Alaska . Served in the army. Let me just let you Canadians know that all REAL Americans appreciate and respect you. And are aware of your absolutely absurd war record. True warriors. Proper soldiers We splintered from the same countries back in the day. And it shows. I, as well as many many other Americans know every word to O Canada and sing it everytime before matches. I’m sorry the media only shows you the worst of us. But we love you. Canadians and AMZACS are goated ride or dies for real.
Class act Toronto. Well done!
That’s class. Thanks Toronto.
stuff like this builds hockey man you don’t see this in other sports.
Facts!
I love how Canadien and American markets respect each other's anthems.
I believe Buffalo is the only American city that does both anthems
@@gregorymccann3223 They do both anthems when its an american team and canadian team playing against eachother, yes it doesnt happen alot because theres only 7, but it still happens quite a bit.
@@IanStrain23328 Sabres do it every game
Good point, but the Canadian anthem is routinely pre-empted on TV by commercials. The MLB and NBA All-Star games are notorious for this.
@@gregorymccann3223 Full marks to Buffalo for playing both anthems prior to every game.
Always great when this happens, but really cool when it's for a different country!
What is with the mic going out in Toronto? It happened a few years ago and the Canadian audience did the exact same thing.
I’m so proud to be Canadian! ❤️🇨🇦
Thanks Toronto fans!
We LOVE our Canadian "Cousins" up north and feel very lucky to have you all as our neighbors!!!
As a proud Canadian this is not the first time we have sang the American national anthem...there are many videos of us doing this on youtube
I absolutely love Canada! They are so kind!
Leafs fans do it again ! i remember the Nashville game when it happened a number of years ago.
ua-cam.com/video/mHSaHRd4Q48/v-deo.html
they should let fans sing the anthems more often
This made me tear up. As a nascar fan, we sing the Canadian national anthem before every race in Michigan. I’m happy to return the favor any time for our neighbors to the north.
If I had nickle for everytime Leafs Fans sang The Star Spangled Banner while a mic cut out, I'd have 2 nickles. Which isn't a lot but weird that it happened twice.
2 nickels is still better than 0 nickels
