Hello from South Africa....grew up singing "Siyahamba ekukhanyeni kweNkosi" at Sunday School and nice to hear it being sung by another nation in my language (isiZulu).
I love the thought of music bringing cultures together in harmony. It is such an inspiration and seeing an all Caucasian choir performing an African melody. God bless you all.
Sencillo es entender ellos y yo y todos pueden cantar la cancion que quieran y nadie les va impedir ni tienen que pedir permiso a nadie asi todos sean de color negro o de otro color no entiendo porque buzcar algo malo si solo con escuchar basta entender lo bello que es la musica.
Enhorabuena, suena precioso y transmite alegría por la vida, cosa bastante necesaria. Me da igual si son blancos o negros los que cantan, no van a introducir personas de color sólo por el hecho de tener que cantar esta canción, la cantarán con la gente que tienen en el coro (y alguno hay de color). Resulta sorprendente eso sí, ver a personas blancas o de raza europea o llámese como se quiera cantar esta canción con tanto ritmo y tan metidos en el papel. Los africanos suelen ser más rítmicos que nosotros. Estaba buscando esta canción porque la tenemos que interpretar en la orquesta de flautas para acompañar un coro, y sin duda el video es inspirador. Enhorabuena por el trabajo.

+JRafael1949 Es un coro Bautista del Sur , que da la bienvenida a todas las razas . No muchas personas son negras Bautista del Sur . Prefieren la religión del Bautista Misionera . Hay gente negra en el coro . Simplemente no muchos. No me daba cuenta de que los blancos no se les permitía cantar ciertas canciones . Hay muchos todos los coros negros , pero nunca se ven a nadie gritar racismo a ellos .

Simplemente tiene que ver con no muchas personas negras eligen ser la religión Bautista del Sur. Al igual que la mayoría de los hispanos en Mississippi elegir ser la religión católica . Si te fijas, hay dos chicas negras en el coro . Habría muchos más , si más hizo una prueba .

It's kind of crazy, I've always noticed that there tends to be a higher than average percentage of redheads in choirs. I wonder if it has to do with culture of some European countries, like Ireland and Scotland, passing down a value of music? But even that doesn't make that much sense, because most cultures have music.
Very good but it makes me unconfortable to see a white choir from Mississippi singing an African song. Mississippi has the highest African-American percentage of any US state. The racist history of the state has things in common with South Africa. All the same, well done! It's a great performance and a fine choir.
Francis Squire I think you should visit Mississippi and you would see how much things have changed. This choir does have a couple of African Americans in it but it is not almost all white because it discriminates, but because it is a Southern Baptist choir. Nearly all African Americans in our state are of the Missionary Baptist Faith and not Southern Baptist Faith. Thanks for the compliment on the choir.
It makes me uncomfortable to see you so upset by a genuine expression of faith. Lucky for us, Christ doesn't care about skin color, ethnicity, race, or any of the other factors with which we try to divide ourselves.
This was the recessional hymn at my cousin's funeral. I'll never forget the beautiful sound of us all singing together.
