@@michaelp7714 hello. I basically copy pasted K boges calisthenics workout lol
It is three sets of a variation of push, pull and squat body weight exercises.
For example, three sets of push-ups to near failure, three sets of inverted row to near failure, and three sets of squat to near failure. I swap the exercises out with a variation to slightly hit the muscles in a different way.
I lift weights maybe once or twice too, usually on weekend. I don’t take a rest day but an easy day if I feel fatigued or need it. It’s based on how I feel that day. I just cut the reps usually do in half.

Don't forget the importance of walking on uneven surfaces as much as possible! There's a world of difference between a "hike" on (or better still, off) a trail and slapping along on pavement (or any hard, groomed surface). It may be as little as walking on the grass instead of the sidewalk as much as possible, but your dogs have the right idea there, choosing the sandy beach. Not only is it infinitely better for your physiology, it lights your brain up having to judge each step. That connection will make you more nimble and resilient now, and perhaps prevent you breaking a hip later in life.

I love walking for its health and mental health benefits. I enjoy walking after my meals to aid with digestion, blood sugar regulation, and nutrient partitioning. I love Stan Efferding's concept of the 10 minute walk as well, although I try to take a long brisk walk as often as I can.

So on point as usual! It is no accident that in America, where people barely walk and drive everywhere (like to a gym to WALK ON A TREADMILL???) we have overwhelming numbers of people with metabolic and mental disease. When I travelled to developing countries where people are forced to walk and cycle everywhere, their health and happiness per capita is much higher than ours despite "substandard" nutrition and health care. Walking especially in the woods or on the beach does amazing things for mental well being as well. Thanks again K!

Simply look at images of people in cultures around the world. The people are slim, muscular and look like athletes. These people don't "exercise," they get exercise by walking and doing their daily activities. They squat and don't sit, they walk and don't run, they move and aren't sedentary. They sleep, laugh, and food is for life not for pleasure (just saying they're not gluttonous).
Americans specifically are soo brainwashed to think they need more to achieve what they want. Less going to a gym, less stuffing your face, less computer and TV, less stress, less anger, less medicine, less now instead of gradual for life
