The problem I have with Sunday is how he does his plan and forces so many people into a dream without their consent. Some people, probably even most would want it but forcing people into a fantasy that isn’t real without even consulting them is something I am against. It’s the controlling part of the Order that is the problem here. Is he a bad person? No. Did he have bad intentions? Also no. He just went about it the wrong way by controlling the fates of millions of beings unbeknownst to them. If he just went about it by asking the consent of the people there really wouldn’t be a problem with his plan if it was only for the willing

Sunday knew the express didn’t want to be a part of this forced paradise yet he included them anyway. Thank the Amber Lord for Firefly and Acheron who were able to initiate the process to save everyone because although many people would have liked it, not everyone would have. Many people in the dreamscape were just people on a vacation lol. Not people who were escaping things but just regular people enjoying their lives.

Remember when in Xianzhou story quest about Dan Shu (the head of Sanctus Medicus) talk about the adversity of those xianzhou natives who have deformities, they can't be fixed by the technology or knowledge due to the ambrosia arbor "blessing", any changes they do will revert to what it was before the changes (like adding bionic eyes won't work as mentioned by Dan Shu) which is a bless and curse of long lifespan species. I think a big clue about Tsaritsa's plans and their popularity, is that most Fatui are willing to die for them. Even somebody as bad as the Doctor is willing to sacrifice his biggest treasure - all his other selves - for Tsaritsa's plans. And there are all kinds of people among the Fatui. From the Signora, a 500-year-old vengeful fire elemental, to an evil-looking city mayor, to a young battle maniac, to a mad scientist. And even Archons like Rex Lapis are willing to cooperate if Tsaritsa can prove that their people are strong enough to weather the coming storm. You say Teyvat is a dream world. But I have adventured in it for a long time, and I feel there is something deeply wrong with it. Some wound that goes deeper than Archons suffering from PTSD. Perhaps the same wound that was hastily stitched with Celestial Nails. And Teyvat's life seems to be seeping away into that wound. Perhaps it is the "grievances" of the "old world" that seeks to reassert itself, like it happened in Chenyu Vale. Perhaps something more esoteric, like the concept of death being broken with the Shade of Death being killed in the war with the Second Throne.
ive seen Sunday's plan a dozen times over and i bet most of us have as well; utopia via escape from the "real" world yet all who try face the same hurdle. no one ever wants to live in a 'perfect' world the only way the utopian dream could ever work is if no one knew it was a dream. even then to prevent any stragglers they must not remember where they came from as to not be drawn back to the waking world. utopia is a fool's dream, flooded with the ignorant and desperate.
I Sunday and Cryo Archon's idea is very similar but I think the Cryo Archon is doing this now because she knows the HP is slient oltherwise her nation would have been nuke already for her actions. But u said it best, HSR folks had a choice and GI never had a choice of freedom.

Man, I find sunday so interesting, even if I can't agree with him. My main hang up is Why does He, specifically, get to decide whats best for people? Especially when they're basically all strangers. And what happens if one person's idea of happiness contradicts another persons? It's striping people of free will to decide whats best for themselves, and they just....stagnate. You never have the chance to grow. Like a certain character from Persona 5, Sunday has a god complex. To use an example from P5, and replacing names, say Ei had chosen, instead of isolating herself after Makotos death, to fully delude herself into believing she *was* Makoto, with Sunday's help. She might be "happy" but the core problem isn't solved, she's still depressed and running away. And Sunday doesn't believe she is even capable of moving past this trauma and being happy any other way, even if she is. And that's not to mention that, especially in a dream, he could, say, bring Makoto back instead of having Ei live this delusion. He is deciding this is what's best when its not. Basically, Escapism isn't a viable long term solution to lasting mental health, and Sunday would be a shit therapist.

I think a big clue about Tsaritsa's plans and their popularity, is that most Fatui are willing to die for them. Even somebody as bad as the Doctor is willing to sacrifice his biggest treasure - all his other selves - for Tsaritsa's plans.
And there are all kinds of people among the Fatui. From the Signora, a 500-year-old vengeful fire elemental, to an evil-looking city mayor, to a young battle maniac, to a mad scientist.
And even Archons like Rex Lapis are willing to cooperate if Tsaritsa can prove that their people are strong enough to weather the coming storm.
You say Teyvat is a dream world. But I have adventured in it for a long time, and I feel there is something deeply wrong with it. Some wound that goes deeper than Archons suffering from PTSD. Perhaps the same wound that was hastily stitched with Celestial Nails. And Teyvat's life seems to be seeping away into that wound.
Perhaps it is the "grievances" of the "old world" that seeks to reassert itself, like it happened in Chenyu Vale. Perhaps something more esoteric, like the concept of death being broken with the Shade of Death being killed in the war with the Second Throne.

Man, I find sunday so interesting, even if I can't agree with him. My main hang up is Why does He, specifically, get to decide whats best for people? Especially when they're basically all strangers. And what happens if one person's idea of happiness contradicts another persons? It's striping people of free will to decide whats best for themselves, and they just....stagnate. You never have the chance to grow. Like a certain character from Persona 5, Sunday has a god complex. To use an example from P5, and replacing names, say Ei had chosen, instead of isolating herself after Makotos death, to fully delude herself into believing she *was* Makoto, with Sunday's help. She might be "happy" but the core problem isn't solved, she's still depressed and running away. And Sunday doesn't believe she is even capable of moving past this trauma and being happy any other way, even if she is. And that's not to mention that, especially in a dream, he could, say, bring Makoto back instead of having Ei live this delusion. He is deciding this is what's best when its not.
Basically, Escapism isn't a viable long term solution to lasting mental health, and Sunday would be a shit therapist.
