Many don't believe in Catholic Christianity because nowadays uses intellect to grasp the word of God. They also base blessings of God on material things. Many maintain the idea that they get to fame and power on their own even without believing in word of God.
The existence of sins inside the Church only shows that evil is becoming daring. Remember how the devil tried to lure Jesus Christ to give up on His resolved. And this daringness of evil will always exist where the belief in Jesus Christ is strong coz that's the reason why devil exist.
