E36 Coupe Rear Windshield Trim Install Tips

The flap facing towards the glass is the most crucial detail, it pinches very easy. You will also want to keep everything lubed with window cleaner, detail spray, etc. The side pieces are much easier and can be fitted by hand. Give some thought into the bottom of the side piece and the bottom trim strip, they fit together in the corner. The bottom piece is very easy to install. With lube you can slide one corner into the right place to connect with the side trim, and go from there.
