Speaking as a former F430 coupe owner, those were just Manual gearbox equipped with a computer program to "punch the clutch" when shifting gear. It's just F1 Style paddle shift AMT gearbox, neither of Ferrari production cars are using actual F1 Gearbox.
It's because he needs to have crazy clickbait, fake giveaways, favoritism by UA-cam's algorithm, and needs buy a new car every week. Sad reality but this channel is a gold mine and hope it blows up
The missing subs are the small children who prefer overly hype content from UA-camrs I won't mention (but you know who they are). HEY UA-cam IM SCREAMING AT THE CAMERA RIGHT NOW.
The YT algorithm was made by prehistoric apes indeed but "small children" don't watch this? The color of this car, the fact that it has a manual gearbox, everything is perfect, but then I skip through the video and only see some dudes face. No thanks. Why in the hell would you floor the car while recording your face and then go 20mph while recording the POV @ 14:14? It makes absolutely no sense to me. You can talk all you want, that's fine, but if there's not at least 1 entire minute of driving footage, which means NOT showing facecam footage while flooring it then I'm just gonna dislike the video. He put in some effort, and when I saw the POV footage I almost subscribed but in the end all the facecam footage completely ruined it for me, I rather watch onboard footage without words in them than YT garbage, and I rather watch TST one takes than car reviews. Not talking about this channel, I have other people such as Salomondrin in mind when I talk about stupid garbage car content. I'm a driver and already know plenty about these cars so I don't need to hear about them but I need to hear the engine and see the driver interactions (POV). Drift that thing while recording POV footage and I'll sub for life, show me your face while flooring it and I'm going to leave a dislike before leaving. I'm a simple man, and certainly not a small child. If I can go out and produce a more exciting video using a damn 1 litre hatchback then your content is garbage (again, not talking about this here), but of course not everyone can use all the performance of the car to make it do what it was built to do, which is driving fast as hell, and from what I can tell most people, certainly all small kids, don't even want to see that simple onboard (POV) driving footage. They rather look at someones face and listen to them yell or talk. In my personal opinion (not a fact) this trend or target audience (yt is full of teens/children) has reduced the quality of automotive journalism because I now get clowns doing car reviews instead of calm racing drivers. When I say clowns I mean specific german journalists who always exaggerate their emotions or act stupid. Edit: Just wanted to make sure my comment isn't disrespectful because it includes critic about this video but then I started writing about other channels which produce garbage content, waste my time, include clowns who try way to hard, or are simply produced to gain exposure by abusing cars and so on. Some people like cars but don't even like driving, and they are starting to create youtube channels just like car enthusiasts, so obviously I'm going to be disgusted by some channels and find other ones with an entirely different audience. TL;DR -> This video needed WAY more POV footage, but there are MANY many much worse YT car channels so I'm not complaining but simply leaving, just wanted to let you know why I can't watch this despite not being a small child.
Sam, the shop that did the conversion is Black Horse Motorwerks LLC in Bucyrus, Kansas, a southern suburb of the Kansas City metro area. Amongst the many cool cars out of their shop is a 458 GT3 Spec race car that the owner uses on track days. I saw the car Saturday running at the Lake Garnett Grand Prix Revival, where I was racing my Sentra SE-R. The shop has an unmatched group of customers with amazing cars, many of which are used on track. Glad you were able to find the car and have a go! Enjoy your travels in the Colonies! 😉
A little history behind this car. It was converted to a manual by Blackhorse motorworks in Byrus Kansas by @ “the chazz” (the middle of nowhere) using all Ferrari parts except for one they had to fabricate (I forget which part.) before 2016 for an ex-Belgian racing driver who almost daily drove it for quite a while. I believe he used to have a kid in a baby seat and take him around in it to run errands. He later got rid of it for a black Superformance GT40 (& not sure about the FF bit). It actually has no stripe & last time I thought it had around 30-40k mikes.
most underrated channel on youtube, one of the few channels that actually has content on cars and not videos each week that are about what car to buy, what car to sell, and loads of other horse crap
This video deserves to be awarded double thumbs up thank you and the owner for sharing it and it’s sounds. I always love the music you select but this time your selection because of the car it was perfect also.!
I would love to choose manual , but in 2017 I fell 3 story's at my work and lost use of my feet so I am stuck with choice of only paddle's , but instead of dwelling on my situation I now have a youtube channel witch has afforeded me some rare opportunity's like starting & revving pirelli edition adventador or getting to film a super rare ROSSO FUACO red FERARRI LA FERARRI with FXXK rims . you & shmee inspired me to start a channel , THANK YOU & maybe see you in toronto CONGRAT'S ON YOUR SUCCESS
I have never driven a Ferrari or been in one as a passenger, but have become such a fan of these cars (and Porsche's) from your channel. Your geeky type of Ferrari knowledge and historical info is really impressive and you can see that your enjoyment is genuine. Surprised you are not a brand ambassador for either Ferrari or Porsche with the level of promotion and focus that you put on these brands in your amazing content!
What an awesome car, and kudos to the owner for getting in touch and letting you have a drive! I bet Vicki will hear all about it for the rest of drive the world!!
Its 100% not the only one. One was done back in 2007 and I know one has been seen South America. (Same color red so who knows if its the same car) Still very cool and something a buddy of mine has had the parts for the past 8 years to do to his normal 360 as well but has been on the fence about.
STG, I'm new to the channel and I have to say, this is all amazing! I really relate to your excitement, and its all so wholesome and fun! Keep up the amazing work,I'm excited to see where everything goes :)
This is my favorite video in a long time, by anyone. James is too much lifestyle and doesn't really critique cars anymore. Matt Farah doesn't criticize anything about a car if he's doing sponsored content. I like how you're still a real person, genuinely discussing pros and cons of each driving experience
I am a huge Ferrari fan. Having said that, I 'm not one of those who treats them as museum pieces. Modifying one (if done correctly), driving it regularly, and keeping it are things I like to see. Cheers!
Keep filming the stuff you like or are most passionate about. It does come across as more genuine and unique and won't get lost in all the usual press reviewers/generic car videos.
Agree, best to have both. FYI - The guy is Florida who did the same conversion for a black Scuderia. maybe worth tracking down. He documented it with a number of youtube videos.
This is also my dream car, saw my first 360CS a couple years ago but was on a bus and didn't have enough tickets to get off to take some proper pictures, so therefore I've seen only one but never heard one in person before. So jealous of you Sam!
I am normally not into engine sound as much as most. But i have to say this car has a beautiful tone. Sam you do know how to film a drive which is also a pleasure to watch
Awesome video as always Sam. Had goosebumps during a big part of this! Your passion really shows and as a big Ferrari fan myself, thank you for all the experiences you give us the opportunity to enjoy! Keep it up 🤩
Dear God, that noise... I'm at a loss for words.... Sam, magnificent video! Why are you not pass a million subscribers is just a fact that's baffling to me.
Saw you on Halsted Ave and Washington Ave in Chicago. The color of your 911t looks awesome in person. Keep up the good work, love your channel and been a sub since the 4c.
Pretty sure, being one of a kind experience, like you said,it'll be worth having alongside the original CS,and that TDF blue though!!! Sublime!!! And that soothing clunk of the gated manual as well!!!
Nothing but honest Sam. Me? I’d have the manual all day long. On another point. A 13s ad is imposed on me by plenty of other channels whereas your settings always seem to allow me to skip ads. If it’s going to help getting you your classic and keep on building your garage, then I for one don’t mind a 13S ad or two over 15m. Go for it and keep up the great content.
It was fun to see where on Lake Shore Drive you were cruising, and then Lower Wacker...Ha! Did you go the entire 2.2 miles? That’s a fun drive in the right car, if not crowded.
My dream car as well......i would want the conversion as well ....i would beg Ferrari Scuderia to do the change over for me....thank you for both sharing my Dream with me....because a manual Challenge Stradale is what dreams are made of : ) cheers

@@vtech5635 I don’t think very many people actually think it’s the same gearbox that was in a early 2000 Ferrari f1 car.

The footage of the exhaust I mean insane sound, and the pause it makes between gears, just crazy.

The spec alone is just amazing and to add up to that the manual gearbox 😍. The owner is such a chill guy as well.

Another benefit to the manual box in the cs is removing all the hydraulics for the f1 system aslo removes a decent amount of weight out of the back
I would love Sam to celebrate his 100.000.000th subscriber with a 360 CS. Also, I think I would love this one in manual.
I only have to see the title of this video to know that Sam did a little wee when this opportunity came around!
