This story does not include the estimated $2.1 billion the state of Tennessee owes the Tennessee State University as causation or correlation to the problems this HBCU is facing. Please do better WTVF.

How about you do a better job and expand on what you know about this?

@@answerman9933 it’s a publicly known story. The state of Tennessee withheld matching state funding from TSU for decades while giving that same taxpayer money to other public institutions instead. This lawsuit goes back years, I did my senior research project on it, and recently it was settled in the amount of $2 billion awarded to TSU. However, they will only release small amounts of the money and only on infrastructure projects that the state approves, aka, they will not pay up for as long they choose and without any accountability.

@@answerman9933also, your tone is very condescending and you should probably check yourself and your bad attitude.

Those funds have nothing to do with what has taken place. That's totally for infrastructure. But it's understood that it needs to be replaced

Who threw the 2 Billion number out there? There is no way the school is owed 2B. Mismanagement is always the problem in our schools but we never hold anyone accountable.
