Do you have a recipe for the apple sauce cookies? My mother made them when I was a little girl. As she passed none of us children were lucky enough to get the recipe.
Sarah , do you baby wear your babies? It will help you to keep up with the others. Im in maine right now on my mom alone time , but missing my kids. It is a little chilly on the beach in february. Also wondering if you do any other baby prep besides meals ? Decluttering etc.
That is so cool you are in Maine. Are you enjoying your time? Yes I baby wear. But I also think six weeks to rest postpartum and bond with baby. So I do pretty much nothing. But I baby wear a lot once I am up and around. My babies aren’t put down a lot. I do different things to prepare for different babies depending on the needs of the family. I don’t think declutterring is on the list this time, but I will see when nesting starts. LOL
I have a question, with no one working outside the home, how do you support your very large family financially? 2nd question with multiple family disabilities from seizures, skin conditions, syndromes, etc are you concerned with having more children? 10 children with increasing food costs ( stated children are big eaters), utilities, clothing expenses i'm not sure how this is possible without support of public assistance..
We did a video about finances but I will give the basic answer. Mark gets disability insurance. We rent from my mom. We purchase most of our food but my mom eats supper with us most nights so she will buy ingredients sometimes. We do get state insurance for medical. I already have a video planned about your second question so watch for that in the next few days.
Can you share why does your younger girls cover their heads like married women? I’m familiar with scriptures Corinthians 11:5 1 and Corinthians 11:3-16 KJV - For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. I know some Faiths consider a head covering like yours necessary and others their uncut hair being placed in a bun on their heads is viewed as their covering. I understand and know where this belief comes from in the Bible. However, I’m trying to understand the reasoning for a young girl when she is not considered a woman. Is their a biblical reason you start younger or just a personal preference.
Thank you for your comment. We do believe the command is to women, however we feel it is appropriate to encourage our daughters to understand the meaning of the symbol and so far they have all willingly worn a covering during daily life. We actually did a video about this same question. You can find that video here. ua-cam.com/video/sUuVGf73z38/v-deo.htmlsi=i6YSoJ_OKgN4es78
