I just lost a friend a couple of days ago who woud actually have LOVED it if folks did those songs at his funeral. When he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkins (which he beat!), he had some of us make a tape for him of some of the most gruesome songs we knew. He told me that the looks on the faces of his medical providers were priceless.
That’s so sweet and amazing that he has such a badass sense of humor. I love him. 😂❤

As a dead person I can confirm that these songs shouldn’t be played at a funeral.

i remember at my cousin’s funeral, they really didn’t know what songs to play considering how untimely his death was, and they just went into his spotify and picked his most played song, play the part by role model. i’m pretty sure it was a song he shared with some friends of his, it had the whole place crying, though it was about a guy dumping his feelings on some girl. a little uncomfortable, definitely not a funeral song
