I have 3 kids and when the last kindergarten school shooting took place I cried because I couldn't imagine sending my 6, 7, 8 yr old to school only to hear they been shot dead, and as a parent I felt the despair that those parents losing their kids in that shooting, but what happened after that? NOTHING. Assault style weapons should be relegated to specially licensed collectors, and sales between said individuals should have to be monitored by law enforcement. The difference between semiautomatic rifles actually used for hunting and an AR-15 Is magazine capacity. A hunting rifle can't usually hold more than 6 to 10 rounds where an assault style weapon can usually hold about 30 rounds. If you're a hunter the only time a 30 round clip would be useful while hunting is if you are encroaching on the territory of a grizzly bear. Because no hunter I've ever met is such a bad shot they'd need 30 rounds to bring down even an elk. Besides if you only wound a deer with your first shot, it's going to run away fast so you might get a second shot off if you're fast. Otherwise you just have to track the wounded animal, because sooner or later the wound will bring it down and the hunter just needs to be there to claim it.
We KNOW that from the first engagement with the shooter to 12:50, that additional children died. We know from the 911 call dialog. Children were killed from 11:35 to 12:15. We know this. While they were waiting because the 18 year old shot back.
