Thank you very much for your nice comment friend! Taiwan is a very beautiful country and I will come back again to explore new places and take new amazing photos :)
@@dumspyrospero All of them are great but if I had to choose i would say the one at 0:48, or the one at 1:34, or the one at 2:30. Hard to choose really :P
I love them too! But I cant decide If i like the night markets more or the serenity of the temples at night! Maybe first going to the night market for delicious food and then visiting the temples to relax 😂
The 20-70mm f4 seemed to work pretty well, was this all handheld? I’ve got the 24-50mm on its way but it was very close between the two, one reason in favour of the 24-50mm was lowlight!
@@raturnbull5523 Yeah all the videos and photos were handheld. Honestly the stabilization of the Sony a7c II is incredible so even at f4 you get awesome photos. I usually dont shot wider than f4 when doing street photography to make sure my entire frame is in focus and this lens works for me. I also love that I can shot at 20mm without buying a seperate wide lens. But having a lens at f2.8 is very tempting too I have to agree, you cant go wrong with either option 💪
Excellent question Alexandre! Usually in well lit areas (ex. the 3 photos you see in the beginning of the video) I am using multi metering, but when I go to darker areas with high contract (ie in an alley with dark shadows and bright street lamps) I switch to highlight metering and I am exposing for the highlights to create a more dramatic effect (ex the photo at 1:34 of the video). Unfortunately the metering setting is often overlooked by many people :( Which metering setting do you prefer to use?
@@dumspyrospero I'm fairly new to photography so I got my first camera (Ricoh GRIII) earlier this year... I usually stick to multi metering but I figured you were using highlight metering for these very contrasty shot. I'm still learning but I usually try to darken the shadows in the post-prod when I want to achieve the same result. Sounds like highlight metering might be the best option and probably gives you more flexibility in post though. I really like your edits! I'm about to pull the trigger on an A7CII with a 85mm lens, can't wait to join the Sony gang!
@@AlexandreHebertChevalier Usually in 90% of the cases multi metering does a very good job so no problem at all using that one for most of your shots. I love the A7C II so far and I have only good things to say about this camera. It is a beast in a small package and on top of everything it is an excellent camera for videography (it actually motivated me to create my youtube channel). I hope you manage to upgrade! Many thanks for your great comments as well, let me know in case you have any other questions :)
I’ve lived in this city for almost ten years and never thought it had such a beautiful side.

Thank you so much for the support! I will try my best :)
Cool stuff. I liked the 7-11 photo.
Thank you so much my friend! What do you think about the color grading of the photo? Do you like the "cinematic" blue color or it looks too extreme?
@@dumspyrospero Looks very Wong Kar-wai. Works well with the subject matter.
@@FlashesOfTime Glad that you like it! Thanks a lot for the feedback :)
Both your edits and your captures are next level. I dont know how you do it but keep doing it ❤
