    My teacher has been recommending your vids for a while now. I'd like to say I'm pretty strong at math so I didn't think it would be beneficial. I was completely wrong and really enjoyed how easy and straight forward you make ur lessons. Thanks 4 being the help I didn't know I needed.

      That’s great! Your teacher is smart 🤣. It’s always helpful to hear a lesson taught with a different approach. Hang in there! Advanced Functions and Calculus and Vectors are here for you as well 😊 please like, subscribe and share to increase the channel’s visibility.

    These videos do really help and I could say learning from here is easier than learning from any teacher in school your way of explaining is easy to understand!! Thank you so much!!!!!

    Thank you so much! You are an amazing teacher!!!! You have really helped my daughter understand grade 11 functions. You go into detail and review parts of the lessons that were studied in the previous grades to ensure there are no gaps in understanding. All teachers should take the time to ensure the students have not forgotten rules from the past lessons. This really is a great teaching approach. Thank you again, very much appreicated.

      Well thank you! I am so happy to be part of so many students’ success in math. I had no idea how important my channel would become. Thanks for your lovely words and make sure your daughter comes back for grade 12 next year! 😊

    On most scientific calculators, theres a button that has either an x√ button, or it's above a button and requires you to press another button to figure it out, you can use that to find the roots of the value.
    ex.
    4x√16 = 2
    2x2x2x2 = 16.

    For the courses advanced functions and calculus, could you have an outline (homework, tests, and assignments) online for self-study alongside this video? I am very anxious about going into grade twelve, and I would be appreciative if I had all the support I need.

    Ms Havrot, for the first homework question, how did you get 3/6 from 8^1/2

    • @mshavrotscanadianuniversit6234
      @mshavrotscanadianuniversit6234  4 роки тому

      Could you give me a time on the video? Is it the question at the top of the page? Do you mean 8 ^ (3/6) from 8 ^(1/2)? If so, all I did was find a common denominator of 6 so that I could add the exponents together. So, top x 3 and bottom x 3. Hope that answers your question.

    Hi, for 5e
    I got 253/4 because i got the 64 and the 1/4 and got like denominators and got 257/4 and with that i took the 8-9 and got -1
    from there i got the common denominators of -1/1 and 257/4 and got 253/4
    is that fine?

    Hi, I am having trouble solving this question. It was on my test. Could you help me please. (4x^6)^3(4y^{-8}) / (2x)^4(12y^3)^2.

      It’s pretty hard for me to help you without writing it all out.
      Could you send me an email with the question?
      Barbarahavrot at gmail?
      My answer is x^14/9y^14
      That’s provided I have the right brackets
