I was the actor in this production that did the voice of Audrey II and honestly it’s kinda wild to visit this years later and see so many people commenting on the production after I’m out of college. It’s incredible to see so much positive reception for this production and makes fond memories even greater. This show was honestly a struggle to put on way back when we did it. I remember being a month or so out from the show and we hadn’t even begun rehearsing past act 1, yet as a cast and crew we pulled together all of our effort to try to make this production the best we could. I know it’s not perfect, a lot of parts of this still make me cringe and laugh. But I’ll be damned if we didn’t have fun and try to put on the best show we could despite any odds. Thank you to everyone sending love for this years later.
The chick who started Skid Row is the best vocalist by far, and amazing performance with a bit of improv at the end of the melodic phrase, like a trill (metaphorically). Audio recording and mixing is bad, but so far (in my search), a great expression of the musical and film's excellent base of well-executed melodies. Love it. We need...more. :)
The dude playing Orin really rocked it- If I ever was in a production of LSoH I would play Orin, and I'd use this dude as inspiration If he ever sees this YOU DID SO GOOD
The acting here is phenomenal! Especially for a high school, like the acting in general just gives off the vibes of a real Broadway production! Like the casting directors did an amazing job! The bond between Seymour and Orin had in that scene in his office.. absolutely amazing! This must have been so much fun to rehearse! Congratulations if anyone who was in this production is reading this! The urchins were okay, especially during singing (the energy I felt with everyone else wasn't there). But I loved the bond between this Seymour and Audrey. it was amazing! I really hope this Seymour gets somewhere big in life, cause he has the enegy for it, and its absolutely amazing! Like, wow, I'm blown away! This production is amazing! Fantastic job!
This show had me captivated the whole way through! The cast way perfect and they all played so well! By far the best school musical I’ve seen!! Good job everyone 🎉
oh my god this is INSANE for a highschool!! the acting, singing, amount of people AND a pit! I'm both a theater and a band kid, and this level of production is absolutely insane (including props) I can't even describe how crazy this is
As a member of the cast of this production, I can’t express how great it feels to read comments like this after so many years haha. Believe it or not a lot of this show was extremely difficult to put on and we had some pretty rocky times during production. Really cool to see how many people appreciate the effort our cast and crew put into this show :)
honestly people in this comment section arent talking about how great and phenomenal this actually is. like, as a high school theater student, this is really incredible. phenomenal work.
I mean it was okay my high school is doing it this week I might be biased bc I helped with the set and it's my school and I know the cast but I think mine was put together better. kudos to them for working with what they had though
I couldn't agree more, this was outstanding! My son's school is about to do this production and they are taking out all domestic violence, not sure how it's gonna work but excited to see.
This is pretty good so far, ESPIEICALLY since its in high school and organizing something like this takes A serious LOT OF TIME and effort, its pretty great!
Never had seen this musical before but somehow the dentist song was in my dream last night and got stuck in my head all day lol thank you for helping me with this ear worm
I know Audrey is older than Seymour but she always seems way too much older than Seymour haha. Whoever played the Dentist was a great actor, they really went for it!
I think the guy who plays Seymour is not able to catch the nerd type of character, he's probably pretty popular in real life and can't act any different. He still did a fantastic job, it's just interesting to see the character change.
I've been searching for an online copy of this movie for days (in Canada)... It's impossible to find, so I'm settling for this. They did a good job, at least!
Wow, they did amazing. My schools gonna do Little Shop of Horrors this March or so lol, and for some reason (even though I'm a girl) I really wanna try out for Seymour. Just seems like a fun role, and I think if I really tried, I could pull it off.

It is rather good, esp the live orchestra. But perhaps I am to much spoiled by the 1986 movie. Time to time at the songs I have the feeling is a disk at slow play mode. Otherwise when I heard Ellen Green live singing also not sing as high as in the movie. At all - well done.
Was so happy that seymour and audrey kissed, I haven't seen any variation of this play where they have so that's a nice detail! The actors were also super talented, I loved the energy the whole show!
They're in the right tune, it's just some of the actors are singing louder than others which makes it sound like it's out of tune, because they're harmonizing. I'm assuming you don't have experience singing, (maybe you do, if so, sorry for assuming) but there are different vocal parts, so each part gets a different version of the song to sing (that's the best way I can describe it at least) that fits their voice's ability. Not every song is written in unison. You probably knew all this though, but hey. XD
@@_veronica_r yeah I did lol and yea I do have experience singing I honestly think its just my personal preference being why it sounded that way to me XD
