As a mountain biker the 2L bottle attachment is great to spray off your muddy bike before mounting your bike either in a van (if no bike rack) or on the car mounted bike rack. Great for spraying off muddy shoes/boots too.
I’ve got the original. It’s pretty weak sauce but still useful and I did like and use it. I really would like the new 40v model however. Any chance you can do a comparison between the new 18v model you just tested and the 40v model? They seem really similar with the same pressure rating but the 40v has slightly higher GPM.
I bought this Ryobi Power Washer and love it. 2:21 I had a 3.8L tank sprayer I use as a weed broadcast sprayer(pump pressure style). I disconnected the skinny wand sprayer that came with it, added a larger diameter hose to the tank and converted the end so that it fits directly to the Ryobi Washer Sprayer. Now I can spray weed killer so easily without manually pumping the old tank. Just a FYI, the Gardena connectors are exact same as what's on the Ryobi.
@@ManCaverTools of course, that's a given. Another trick I use is for the 2L bottle, I fill it with car wash liquid (the thinner car wash soap you can buy, not the gel type like dish soap), I spray the entire car, then wipe the car up with brushes/sponges, then switch to hose and spray it down. No more bucket ever to use.
I reckon that is perfect for me and the 2 litre pop bottle would be enough for me to clean the top of my truck camper without having to drag a hose pipe up there with me. I'm just waiting for one of Ryobi UKs sales as the bare tool is £150 normally but I have seen it on offer for a more reasonable £115. What happens if you put a bit of car shampoo in the pop bottle with the water?
I've got the ryobi hp ez-clean use it every day to clean my lawnmower and lawn tools plus water my landscaping and clean vehicle, the pesticide attachments work great for putting miracle grow on your plants.
The old one barely does anything so I've been having to use my full on power washer to clean the cars and it is a hassle. This looks like I could sell the old one and maybe upgrade. Thanks! (did you replace the connector? I didn't think they made that metal on the new one, all of the product shots show plastic and other reviews too)
I need to spray a clay tile roof with a cleaning chemical but as the roof is tall (about 10 metres) will this washer reach that distance on the zero jet?
I picked up one of these in April and I really like it. I debated on the 40 volt, but settled on 18 volt due to having many batteries already. I actually use rain water out of my truck to pressure wash my siding so it does pick up form standing water good. I do believe you can connect another garden hose if you unscrew the filter off the long hose, but I don't know how well the pick up is for the pump. Also before I store the hose I take the Ryobi high volume air pump and blow out the water from the line so there's no mess when rolling up the hose.
@@ManCaverTools have you come across any reviews that directly compare the power between 18V and 40V? Although they have similar power specs I wonder how the actual tools fare against eachother
I'm having trouble getting pressure with the 2 liter attached any recommendations.. I've tightened everything up tight I even shortened the plastic hose a little because it looked like it couldn't pull water being stuck to the bottom
I have a Worx Hydroshot Nitro. Same principal. Worx have an official video instructing to hold the whole thing upside down for about 15 seconds whilst running it, whilst hose and filter submerged in water bucket, until pressurized water flows again. It helps push past an airlock in the hose. You can try this with the soda bottle filled with water, or via included hose and bucket I don't want to say do that just because your brand might not suggest that, but this ryobi looks like it works identically. So, if you feel inclined to try it at your own risk, then I'm pretty sure if that works for Worx users, the there's a high chance it'll work the same for you. Secondary things you can do that sometimes helps include: Rotating the spray degree selector through different modes whilst running it (with hose and filter submerged in water) Have water bucket sat higher than the height you're holding the sprayer, maybe on a higher step. Follow instruction manual to clean filter at base of hose and the other filter, probably inside the guns water inlet. Small debris can cause blockages. But yeah, failing to prime the water through the hose, which ordinarily takes up to 15 seconds holding down the trigger (due to air locks), seems to be the most likely culprit. Hope helps somewhat, Good luck!

I’m not sure if they’ve made changes to the model since launch. I just bought one and you can’t connect the nozzle directly to the gun. There’s a round stopper on the nozzle now that doesn’t allow it to click in the gun. It can only be connected to the wand. The safety instruction manual also has diagrams to not use it in this configuration. I’m quite bummed out by this, as the wand gets in the way in tight spaces.
