Hey, thanks for taking the time. learned a few new things (didnt know drift and mailchimp use GPT3). I do think the real risk to SEO by CHAPGPT is that it will replace search all together. Also, got to say that the content chatgpt generates looks better than any AI content tool i saw

Thanks! While I think AI has and will continue to redefine search. Although, I don't think it will replace search. Indexing is a core functionality of search, and these AI tools leverage the search engine indexes to learn. They will grow and expand together.
As for content creation, ChatGPT is good, but leveraging core GPT-3 is even better when you know how to ask it the right questions:)

Do you think this is bad for website owners/companies because what if it decreases their revenue due to the probability that they would get less traffic to their websites because of it being diverted to the AI Chats?
