They're soooo good. Char is so trivial with them, I think it's the only way you can kill all of Kerrigans bases in All-In on Brutal (which makes the final cutscene incredible)
As a protoss main back in broodwar. Mindcontroling enemy units is always OP especially when it ignores supply limit. (It was better back then cause if you mind controled a drone and SCV you had 3 entire armies at your disposal if you had the patience or need to set all that up.)

@@DaveyGunface I do wonder if it *could* be possible without Kerrigan or SpearAbuse. You have mobile spore/spine crawlers for Zerg, and some long AF Ranged Monoliths for Protoss
Supernova makes perfect sense. If you let the fire kill it, the area is way too hot to retrieve the artifact. If you kill it with banshees, you kill it a split second earlier so your guys can get the artifact and get out while just being singed

The Hive Mind Emulator is completely broken. The second you have ~20 of them up, and Rapid Fire hotkeys, you basically can't lose. It's actually pretty easy to just kill every Zerg Base that way too.

I totally didn't use an infinite supply, instant and free unit build cheat. That would be dumb and would invalidate the challenge (In all seriousness, like I said in the video I wasn't going to subject myself to hours and hours of boredom, so there's like a billion reapers in the bottom left of the minimap)
It was a combination of being younger, the microphone, mereadingmylinesstupidfastbecauseiwasuncomfortablerecordingaudio, and on that note just feeling very uneasy and making tons of mistakes while recording. Not that I LOVE my voice now, but everyone absolutely despises hearing their voice for the first few months/years of creation and eventually they just grow numb to that feeling :P

Too many missions like Maw of the Void or Supernova have positions with units or terrain that wouldn't be possible to get through without the help of the starting units. The Genocide Run is something a lot of people have been wanting, and I may or may not be recording that right now. Although to answer the question, yep, it's possible. It's dumb and over-the-top, but it's a god damn joy.

I actually really thought about doing a "damageless run" for a while, at least no unit damage. I want to say that I think quite a bit of it would be possible, but it wouldn't be possible since the first two missions, have entirely unavoidable damage.
Recently it’s been entirely because of circumstance why audio is so scuffed. For reasons I’m not going into, I have a billion family members at my house for the next while, so the only time I have any chance to record audio is about 2-4 A.M. I’m trying to get everything set up now where audio is better, sorry about that man.
