I am building it now and actually it really is lacking detail. I was just thinking today what a lack of surface detail there is. I added an Aires cockpit to spice it up. I had to use a fair amount of filler getting the fuselage together too. Are you getting the Minibase SU-33? After seeing Flory's review I got one from eBay. Now that has some awesome detail.
@@RWHobbies , Richie no I am not going to get it. The cost is not the problem but the complexity of the model scares me. Right now, I have a lot of models started and waiting for decals to come in to determine the paint scheme. I am trying to see if Tamiya acrylic paints will allow me to do chipping with hair spray. So far it has been a disaster. I will try again tomorrow. The Su-33 looks like a great kit! I saw two reviews and no complaints about the model.

Spoiler alert... not great. Building it now and using a lot of filler and not much in way of surface detail. But will look nice when done. Richie
