West Coast Birding from Velddrif

I based myself at Kuifkopvisvanger camping just outside Velddrif. This is a birding paradise. Kliphoek Salt Pans are next door and you are situated right on the banks of the tidal Berg River. The birding was simply magnificent. Red-necked Phalarope were on display and on the one windless day, photography was sublime
