I did took 1500 mg B1 hcl before due to my severe fatigue, blured vision, palpitation, nervousness. within a week of taking 1500mg of B1 I went to normal again. it even helped my hurting gums. Thiamine acts very fast. For me this B1 vitamin is the most important vitamin because it can mimic different types of illness if low in B1. Nice video

Oh Elliot, I've had fibro and migraines, angsiety, chemical intolerances etc for over 50 years; 4 days ago I took my 1st mega dose, the difference was noticible after 2 hours!! The neuropathic pain spasms and electric shocks went from my back, I've had them for 30 years. I am so, so ANGRY with the NHS for not believing me when I first asked them for help age 7, they labelled me as a hypochondriac, I'm not, I'm just forced to focus on my symptoms due to the life limiting effect they've had. Thank you so much, I waited a long time to find you!

Years ago, a sleep Dr did a survey among our Fibromyalgia support group in Oregon. He was shocked to see that nearly all of our results (100s) seemed indicative of sleep apnea. Last week I heard Dr Berg say that insufficient Thiamin (B1) causes sleep apnea. Your video reinforces that information. When I was diagnosed in 1990, they believed it was caused by a lack of restorative sleep. At that time, Dr Bennett in Oregon was conducting research re: growth hormone.

That's fascinating. I have suffered from sleep apnea, but its not obstructive apnea, it's more akin to Central Sleep Apnea. I am waiting for further investigations but this will probably take a long time. I think its time to take a leap into taking B1 and experimenting (and recording) what effects it may have with both fibromyalgia and sleep apnea. It really helps when people comment on these posts to give others an insight into what other studies have been done. Thank you!

@@ricardohernandezvega8588 I was taking the B1 protocol and feeling better, and then went on a trip and I didn't stay consistent. By the end of the trip I really wasn't taking it. And I also felt awful. It took me like a month to get back to feeling good. I didn't start taking it right when I got back, though. I was having issues with nausea when taking pills and I was trying to figure out what was causing that. Once I started back on it, I started feeling better. But I tried to jump back in to the dosage I was at, and I got hit hard with what I guess was maybe a detox reaction...? So, I'm back to working myself back up. Like I said, finally feeling better. I haven't been able to do much housework for like a month, but now I'm better able to handle it. (Finally put away my suitcases yesterday, and now working on almost a month's worth of laundry.)
I don't know if, after you take it for a longer time, maybe you can go down on it and that will work...? I guess it would depend on the root cause in your system. If your system just got overloaded and started down a path like a snowball creating an avalanche, then I would assume it would be possible to get the balance back, and maybe your system could take back over to maintain it. However, if you have some kind of genetic thing that is actually keeping your body from doing what it's supposed to do, I can see how you might then need to stay with higher supplementation. Even then, there's always epigenetics...who knows what we can change, really?
My thought is, I would MUCH rather be on supplements for the rest of my life to maintain the function my body should be having, than taking pharmaceuticals that don't increase function, but instead are designed to make me feel like there's less, or nothing, wrong with my body's function. 🤷‍♀️
If you are asking about Low Dose Naltrexone, I have heard some people can eventually stop taking it and be fine. If I skip a night, I'll feel it hard the next day. I'm going to try to go down on it after I've been consistent again with the B1 protocol for a while, and see what happens then.

Check her video out but it sounds like you may be short of some neurotransmitters and your homocysteine(excitatory transmitter) level may be up a little. She will really break it down and help you out. Anytime involuntary twitching happens that’s a sign of high acetylcholine and low serotonin. Once you raise serotonin(inhibitory) transmitter that will make you feel better and that should lower acetylcholine which is a excitatory neurotransmitter. Also raising serotonin will also raise gaba( inhibitory) and lower glutamate which is also a excitatory transmitter. Try Taurine and magnesium glycine will also turn the body off. They are inhibitory transmitters aswell. 😎

Fibromyalgia is not a pain disorder, pain is merely one symptom from tightened muscles, from glutamic acid firing at eg:glutamate at 75% thus gaba is at 25% it is this imblance that is the root of it, through trauma from a psychological angle and an autoimmune condition working in conjunction. Pain is just the only symptom that people say to dr's. Its ones nervous system being on high alert for a long time.

For me, i would try to stop/reduce all/most inflammation first, by sleeping grounded every night, also boost B1 taking Organic Non fortified Nutritional yeast for its B1 and other b vitamins. this is just for starters. Once you remove inflammation, the body can heal much easier. Pain equals Inflammation. Get rid of the Inflammation you reduce the pain, the body can heal once the inflammation is at a Low level. Inflammation is caused by a Electron Deficiency, Ground for Uptake Electrons. Grounding thus reduces Pain, But Grounding Plus B1 work Great together, and a Lower level of B1 is needed due to a Low level of Inflammation from the sleeping grounded. ROS is inflammation. Grounding for the uptake of electrons neutralizes ROS.

The Calgary Opioid Deprescribing Clinic has been doing this a few years now. The world pain summit has also had the doc who developed the weaning off method speak a few times and I think that is all online. I forget his name. Eventually, after weaning off, you may use suboxone to fully end OxyContin and then move to the once per month injection for pain management. Suboxone is a half antagonist. You move up this dosage slowly and decrease the rest of your oxy over the course of about two weeks. This is after slowly weaning off oxy as far as possible and doing lots of therapy.

I just purchased the Ecological Formulas and noticed it is a very small dose per capsule (50 mg). This is compared to another brand of regular B1 that is 500 mg per 1 capsule. Should I be taking a high dose of the Ecological Formula’s, like 1500 mg per day so that would be 30 capsules?? Or is it much more bio available and I need much less compared to other forms/brands?

Most of the so called chronic diseases are mitochondrial dysfunctions. They are not diseases and they are not caused by genetics but by nutrient deficiencies and other environmental factors. According to the individual genetics the cells and the mitochondria will find a way to compensate und to maintain metabolism, which manifests in symptoms that are called chronic diseases. If the deficiency and imbalance is corrected, the symptoms disappear.
