Thank you everyone for your nice comments, they really mean a lot to me. I have loved doing this series with Blondie and Blondies mum and look forward to series 2 in China.
BlondieinChina has always promoted positivity and tolerance, love and friendship. It’s been a real honour to be a small part of that. And of course the food has been delicious as well!!
I miss my Blondie already 🥲
we love you dad!
I have a 2,5yr old daughter and if I can emulate even 70% of your relationships with your daughters and wife I'd die a happy man :)
Will you blog about your walking tour?
You’re the dad we all wish we had. And mom of course.
she is in china already?!
What a joy and privilege it has been for us all as a family to be able to share our food adventures with you all. It has an amazing experience for which I will be forever grateful ❤️
As an Anglo-Chinese bloke living in relatively cold, wet England, I can assure you that the joy and privilege has been mine & my family’s, and that watching you wonderful folks exploring all that fantastic looking cuisine.has helped sustain us through the last year of lockdown. You’re all amazing ambassadors for your country,. Hope I can some day check out some of those culinary delights if I ever manage to get down under. Best wishes
From all your tactful talks in the videos I can tell you are a lady of wisdom.
We need a Vlog for Blondie's Dad's walking trip!
Maybe, enjoying the trip comes first over vlogging
I miss your dad already too. He is such a funny person.
Thanks amy for introducing these two amazing human being into our lifes. easily one of my fav seires in UA-cam.
Awwww! My heart is so full reading your comment
@@BlondieinChina if you ever in Beijing, I have spots for you.
@@xiaodongma90 sounds like a great ...Blondie meets up with a couple viewers and they take her to their spots
It's so beautiful to know that when you were little, your parents taught you about the world. Now that you've grown, you're teaching your parents new things!
I got teary-eyed when your dad said goodbye. I hope he has a fun walking trip!
The type of dad that makes the world a better place and everyone wishes they had
is anyone else waving bye to Dad at the airport!? Loved this series....I have so many notes of what I will try soon.
Hahaha 😂, do not think about it when you eat to, enjoy the taste 🤣
This was my favourite UA-cam series during the entire pandemic stay-at-home period even now. Thanks Amy for sharing you and your parents’ Chinese food adventure in Australia!
Going to miss dad's funny face when he tries new food
Your parents should start their own channel. Explore Australia or something like that.
YES 💯
Absolutely !
💯💯💯
Great idea!
Not gonna lie. I felt sad when you said goodbye to your Dad at the airport. I lost my Dad 11 years ago and seeing you and your family enjoy quality time while making these amusing videos have brightened up my day. Love how Mum and Dad have become more adventurous during this series and love their sense of humour. Wishing Blondie'sDad safe travels and he should set his own vlog or YT so we can share in his adventure,
Did anyone else cry when dad was at the airport or just me? 😭
He is our dad now.
This series with your parents and guests have been pure gold. I have come to love your parents and I can see where you get your adventurous spirit. Your videos always end by making me feel good and smile. I cannot wait to go back to China to visit my son, his wife, and family in the Hunan province. Thank you for these wonderful videos❤️
I am surprised that Amy and her parents did not know about abalone. Australian abalones are highly regarded in other parts of the world. Until recently (before abalone aqua-farming), Australia, especially Tasmania, produced about 25% of world production. Recreational abalone fishing/diving is still popular in Tasmania. Today, Yumbah Aquaculture is the largest abalone producer in the Southern Hemisphere. BTW, abalone is called Paua by the Maoris in New Zealand. Paua shell jewelry is very popular in NZ.
These food adventures with your parents have been so fun!!!
So happy you've enjoyed them!! I've enjoyed making them and I'm so sad this is the end of the series - for now!
@@BlondieinChina It's been great for sure! I've not been able to head back to China myself in a long time (I used to study there) and I live vicariously through watching your content. Though; I must always make sure I've had food already because it's way too tempting. Looking forward to the next chapter!
Going to miss your Dad in these videos!
Me too :(
Me three 🥲, he is the best dad on YT.
Loved this series! Teared up and everything from dad leaving and soon enough you to China. Sending lots of good vibes to your family! Really been a pleasure to follow along and feel a part of it 💕
I bursted out laughing when you guys mentioned Uncle Roger when saw msg on sauce station. 🤣🤣🤣
It took a while to get through all your videos from the beginning but I enjoy them and I hope you stay safe and your whole family
Thanks for watching!
Aw, I'm going to miss your dad! May he have safe and happy travels on his trip!
Awwwww this has been the best series ever! I love every episode and love you and your parents! I love how you promote a culture that’s not your own so positively and all of you are so open minded about food from another culture. Your videos lift my spirits. Keep safe when travelling! We’ll miss your parents, hope we’ll see them again soon!
all the best to your dad in his adventure walking across western australia. god bless that he stays healthy throughout the journey.
oh nooo! I already start missing your Dad, and soon your Mom! They are so nice and I really like the videos you filmed with your family :( but I look forward to seeing your new episodes in China!
We will definitely miss these series with Blondie's dad and mom! :D Wish they can go visit China soon!
I've really enjoyed this series of videos. Thanks for sharing your family with all of us. Good luck to your dad and to you on your way back to China. Can't wait for those videos.
“I’m having a beefgasm! And it’s GREEEEAAT!” Your papa is so funny
An excellent series of food episodes! Strong finish to the series! Looking heaps forward to more of your great content on the mainland coming up! Absolutely great work by the family!
Food on a stick is something to get stuck into. Also, surf and turf is now my middle name!
Really appreciate that feedback! I'm so glad you've enjoyed the series and are keen to continue watching my channel (even when my parents aren't in it anymore haha) xx
@@BlondieinChina, will be great to see you all on the mainland down the track!
Thanks for sharing this! Your parents are so nice and I really enjoy all of the videos you posted! Looking forward to see more videos with your parents in the near future!
HAHAAHHA love the uncle Roger reference. Even as a guy, I think Garen is really charismatic, he looks like a bank manager or real estate agent
Hahahah to me he looks like a guy who would sell you stuff on late night infotainment shows. But I agree very charismatic and easy on the eye.
Amy, I am going to miss your family’s food outing adventures, but I am also looking forward to your upcoming China adventure videos.
Thanks so much, Wilson!
blondies parents are the coolest!
I'm gonna miss your video with your parents. They are such great entertainers and they are both so awesome!
Hopefully the trio will be back again. I really enjoy watching you guys having fun trying new things. 👍👍
I really enjoyed watching this series and I just wanted to say I’m so going to miss this! Your parents are so fun and easy going people! Looking forward for S2!
This video makes me miss my hometown, not only for its food but for its culture and familiarity. Thanks for your video.
It's been interesting to see how brilliant you have put this series together since your parents have joined, as your parents culinary journey from beginner to what they are today, it's kind of like the characters "mature" like in a drama series LOL
Waiting for your China's trip and hope it is better and more interesting when you visit more places and also hope that your China's programs can bring friendships between ordinary citizens of Australia and China. Good luck on your China trip.
Love the food venture series. Going to miss seeing your parents. They are lovely and entertaining.
Thank you Amy , love your videos, especially the ones with your family. I’m a Chinese living in NZ, your video definitely makes me home sick, and miss the foods in China . I look forwards to more of your videos in oz and China
伯父伯母的性格真好,而且还很随性,没想到伯父还是个户外爱好者
Your parents are fantastic.👍 Wish you dad a wondful time on his trip. Please share pictures and videos from his journey.🙏
we love you Amy and your lovely parents and your sister. All the best to your Dad's adventure.
Your dad was the fun of videos. I am sad that he won't be in your video anymore.... :( Hope to see your family visiting China and eating together with you again soon!!!
Awwwww i'm going to miss seeing your lovely parents in your videos and your family adventures together 😢 But maybe one day they can also go visit you when you are in China and have adventures together there too, That would be nice 😊
Yes!! My parents are SO excited to head to China post-pandemic to make a travel/food series with me!
I started drooling watching this video. I miss chuan chuan! I had it is Leshan, Sichuan and really wish I could go back again. In times like this, what brings us together and build friendships are things do not require words. Food is one of those things! Thanks so much!
So sad! But dad has come to WA! That’s where I’m at! Hope he is enjoying himself it’s beautiful here.
i really like your parents. So sad that they wont be your video in the near future :(
Your dad is the man! Great video as always. Looking forward to your new adventures in China.
Sad to see the last of the mum and dad series but look forward to your new adventures in China . As an Asian, I can't say enough that your videos even put us to shame as the younger generation don't eat out with their parents often nowadays (however, we do eat at home that slot), even though family piety is a big thing amongst us.
Your parents are lovely!!
I really enjoyed all the food adventure videos with your parents. Hope to see them again soon. Take care!
Thank you so much! I have loved all your videos, and your parents!
loved the food series with your parents
best part about having chuan chuan over there is the freshness of Australian beef and produce. best of both worlds!
Aaawh so sweet. You are so lucky to be going to China, South Africa is still under a travel ban. Hopefully we can travel again soon. Good luck Amy.
There's just something magical about food that can bring people from different cultures together like this...maybe all politicians should be chefs and the world would be more harmonious.
You and your family are such a joy seeing in the videos! I hope your dad has a fun walking trip! ^_^
Another mouthwatering experience!
Two assumptions...a hotpot with five broths is called ‘The Olympics’ and those chicken feet will supercharge your Dad’s feet for his walk. :D
HAHAHAHHA love that!!! Olympic hotpot sounds like a legit name for it
Your dad is awesome! So enthusiastic to try it all!
I just love all your videos Amy with your parents 💕...your dad is too funny...have a safe trip back to China and a safe trip for dad 😘
Really enjoyed your family series! Take care Blondie's Dad and look forward to the whole family video again in the future!!
好喜歡你們一家人,愛中華文化的友人
爱吃而已
Lol I have absolutely no idea how I stumbled across your channel!! But SUPER EXCITED I DID!!!!!
I wish your dad a lot of good luck, health and favourable conditions for his long walking trip! =)
Your parents are absolutely lovely! ❤️
I guess it’s safe to say that the Blondie’s family’s idea of Chinese food is drastically different than what most Americans or Westerners idea of what Chinese food is.
Wait, wait, 15:03, he multiplied by 0.89? I thought it was 0.79 per skewer?
its soAmazing to watch how the papa and mama eating hot pot
5.04 不是0.79一串吗?为什么最后是134乘以0.89啊
我也发现了
miss your parents so much already!!! ask them to open a channel ..we will support for sure!
Very nice channel, you are so knowledgeable about Chinese culture. Keep exploring, your contents are very educational
I absolutely love what you have with your family❤
I'm sitting watching this video and my mouth is watering lol your videos make me so hungry 🤤🤤🤤
Hey Blondie, just came across your channel. Are you 李慧琳 in the Chinese Bridge? you were one of my favorite player. Nice to see you again on UA-cam after so many years. Btw, you Chinese speaking has been much improved, great job and keep it up!
Going to miss these food adventures with your parents. I really liked their openness to try thing out despite some of the weird foods.
Yay! Blondie back in China!
Love your videos with your family! Your mom is such a cool chick, never afraid to try anything. She's someone I'd want to be friends with. Your dad is super adorable, in looks and in personality. Proud that he went from feeling queasy about trying the "non-safe" foods to voluntarily choosing to eat chicken feet and intestines. Your sister is chill. Maybe that comes from being a vegan? (j/k). And you are awesome! Love your adventurousness, optimism, and humor. As a Chinese who moved abroad at a young age, I learned a lot about Chinese cuisine from your videos and will try some of the dishes when i visit China again. (And i learned that i can actually buy instant luosifen (something i'd always wanted to try) from the local grocery store.) Anyways, wishing you the best, and looking forward to more of your videos, including ones with your awesome family.
By a chinese guy. Your video is the best Chinese food adventure I've seen so far. Love you and your family keep going🔥
I can't get the background music off my head... Its like I am watching food on headline news update... And I am just waiting for some crazy announcement by blondie.
😂😂😂😂😂 now that you mention it, it does sound very news report like!!!
Sad :( I really like the character development from your parents trying out Chinese food😁. Please get your dad a go-pro!!!
Thank you for the Sydney series. It has motivated me to do a few trips down to Sydney to try out your recommendations.
Glad u & parents enjoy eating variety of Chinese food.
Your father kind of reminds me of Wallice from Wallace and Grommet. When he said beefgasm and it's great while looking at the camera, just gave me a flashback of Wallace.
Thanks for sharing your food videos! Really enjoyed them! Hope your dad has a safe and fun trip. Be safe & enjoy your return to China! Your friend is good looking!
It's because of very friendly and China loving Australians like you and your whole family and Hazza that remind Chinese people to think of all the good things about Australia and its people when its politicians are saying crazy things about China. Thank you for all these videos about all sorts of signature Chinese cuisines that I haven't had a chance to try. 👍👏😋 and for those that I know (dim sum etc), you always managed to find authentic places in Australia to show the real stuff💪💪
I have really enjoyed watching this series. Your parents are so adventurous! Safe travels John and Blondie. Looking forward to the reunion series next year 💐
Definitely, ur dad gonna be missed in ur coming videos
Such a good project or series to bond one's parents.
Agreed! We've had the most amazing time together, can't wait to resume the series one day when my parents can come to China!
My wife n I here in Malaysia really enjoy watching your utube videos regularly.
I was gonna say that 79cents for one bite of food is really expensive since Canadian dollars are at almost at a 1:1 ratio with Australian. But turns out your guy's min wage is so much higher! 😂 Ours is $14 and you guys are almost at $20 and $119 is pretty reasonable for 4 people lol.
And it is so bittersweet that you guys are separating. Glad you guys will be doing your own things but sad that we won't see your parents for a while! Your parents are so cute together. They make a lovely combo. Dad's kinda silly (in the best way possible) and and mom is super refined and open minded. Love your family! Feel like I'm going to miss them 😂 something good that covid did is that it brought you guys together. Tell your dad to vlog his trip and show us Australia! ❤️
I love your parents, they're such great people!
U just look like ur daddy face.. that’s how it can express how much ur mom love ur dad. 😊
so sad, I do really love to watch Amy's family series! :(
Amy, you have a lovely family. Looking forward to seeing you back to China!
Subscribed just because father is such a caracter
We love you guys. You are people who Asians really want to be friends.
I'm not vegan or anything but my favorite things to put in a hotpot are veggies and tofu and particularly fried tofu, it soaks up the soup and it's lovely.
😱 A$0.79 per stick/bite is VERY expensive!!!
Especially the Youtiao stick.
The restaurant has to make profit. Lol
Consider its australia is it still expensive ? Omg
