The initial building of the NC Miata track car is done, and its time to test it at a track day. The NC Miata track car gets its first shakedown at the notoriously bumpy Sebring circuit. Let's see how it does and what baseline we're working with to develop the NC Miata track car from here!

I think the next move is bolt on with good break system or polyurethane bushings.

I’m gonna be replacing all the bushings, but likely sticking with rubber to avoid having to continually regrease. Looking forward to it

I’ve always thought that Sebring was quite an odd track, is it good ?
How much time do you think you can shave off once you’ll address the issues of the car ?

From my one lap driving a lifted Jeep at the Jeeps max, yes. Funnily enough, a BMW M4 convertible flipped behind because the driver couldn't understand what a pothole was (driver and passenger were okay)

It’s a great track, good layout, high speed, and many overtaking opportunities. It is super bumpy though and hard on a car, so a work suspension will really show itself. From a 3:06, I estimate with the rear suspension rebuild, coilovers, and 200 TW tires a 2:40-2:45 is very doable.
