A Lesson on Good Friday, Jesus' Crucifixion and Death

✝️👑🙏Bethy offers a Holy Week devotional for kids on the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, Good Friday. Jesus died on the Cross to pay for our sins. This Easter week devotional is designed to be used at home by parents who would like to make this Holy week special for their kids. It can also be an excellent resource for Sunday school teachers looking for some support for their lesson, Matthew 27:32-56, Mark 15:21-39, Luke 23:26-49, and John 19:16-30.

Lesson Notes:
Here are the instructions for this lesson so you can reproduce it for your kids or class.
Materials:
-Your Bible bookmarked to Mark 15:21-39
-White paper
-White crayon
-Watercolors
Directions:
-Talk about how even though this was an ugly thing that happened, it was very good.
-Read Mark 15:21-39
-explain what happened when the veil was torn. Sin was no longer separating God from His people.
-Make the Shining white crosses
-Use the white crayon on white paper to draw a cross.
-allow your child to watercolor the paper to uncover the cross.
-While they are working, ask the questions from the lesson and get your class to engage by responding to what they learned. Particularly, that they would be able to apply these truths to their lives.
-Share the Gospel with your children.
-For an additional activity together, read this event in another Gospel account: Matthew 27:32-56, Luke 23:26-49, or John 19:16-30.
All Scriptures were taken out to the NLT (New Living Translation) of the Bible.
