- Now, we move onto all of the Mario Kart series' fanfares for when you place lower than 3rd (depending on the game, it could be anywhere from 4th to 7th). This one is much shorter and only focuses on the 8 main entries in the series due to the fact that Arcade GP 1, 2, DX, Tour, and Live: Home Circuit lack any sort of bad place fanfare whatsoever. Personally, my favorite of these is the Mario Kart Wii version.

Tbf the change in atmosphere could be thanks to this in older games you were more likely to play locally or versus cpu so losing was actually a sign of not being the best with everyone being players however!!
