I love Philippines so much. My favorite country in the world. I've been to 32 countries and Philippines is the most special to me. The locals are just super friendly and welcoming. They treat you like a long lost friend
Big respect to those vloggers who also try learning the dialect of the places where they are staying. Just like you sir. It only shows that you love what you are doing and really tried to understand the culture
Philippine's english is clear even though its not perfect because that part is a province and normal civilian. But the english is very understandable and can communicate very well with americans or english speakers
Hi Jonathan ~ you are so sweet and genuinely kind to Filipinos that is why they (we) love you. What you just ate is called Ginataang Kalabasa with veggies and crab. It is a Filipino vegetable stew made with squash, usually shrimp, and long beans cooked in coconut milk. Ginataan means “done with coconut milk”. She mentioned the dish has “sayote” which is chayote, a member of the gourd family. I like eating sayote.
Thank you so much Carmen! I just reciprocate the kindness shown to me here. Thanks for the explanation of that dish! I really enjoyed it. And thank you for watching!
Most treat foreigners better than their fellow Filipino. Visited in 2018, several times in different provinces, the foreigners beside me or the next table were treated attentively than my friend and I who were practically ignored. Glad you’re treated well and enjoying your time
The lady said it’s kang-kong is like a spinach version in The US vegetable… it is good leafy vegetable, you should try boiled kang Kong with shrimp paste or adobong kang-kong. I appreciate your loved to the Philippines.
I just stumbled on your channel, and am loving all the culinary and cultural aspects of this country. They locals/Filipinos exudes such kindness and friendliness...........
Jonathan, you're so easy to talk to -- even at times when you don't understand each other. And that lady was so friendly! They definitely need to charge more for their dishes.
Hi Jonathan thank you for visiting our place and appriciate our food you also learn our language bisayas you're so nice, anyways Bohol's my birthday place. ❤ Godbless you watching from hk.
The lady in the carenderia is right, when she said, "You are brave!" Even Filipinos are kind of scared to go around places we are not familiar with. Good for you! You are well received wherever you go. God bless!

Hi Jonathan, that green leafy veggie is "KANGKONG" or water spinach. Hope you enjoyed that "Ginataang Alimango" or crab in coco milk with veggies! Salamat and have a good day!
Pinoys like me are pretty much chatty🤗 - one of the reasons why filipinos easily get along with people of any race and make friends in the process. Always have a good one my friend Jonathan.👍
It's your cheerful personality and zest for life that's contagious which brings out the natural kindness in every one especially us pilipinos happy that your enjoying our country ❤

You are definitely my favorite Phillipines, UA-camr. You have the best personality and attitude with the people and its very commendable and great to watch compared to some others.
Hi Jonathan. I think your friendly interaction and conversation with the locals - about food, cultural traits, trying to learn the local dialects - make your videos endearing to the country. Thank you for promoting the Philippines and it’s people. 😊

It's sad to hear that she lost her business during the pandemic. The truth though was A LOT of people have lost their business during the pandemic and it sucks so bad. The economy plummeted down during those times and a lot of us have to do something else to do a living. It was tough, but being a Pinoy has it's own perks. Even though life was so hard, we still smile and laugh and move on.
Thank you Jonathan for featuring our country The Philippines in your vlogs. Thanks for spreading the positivity, You did mentioned you also speak spanish right?
