    That comment that depression is a form of anger towards oneself is total bs. I found the "evidence" exonerating him came from him. His concern for her to her friends by him could easily be his plan to show he cared. I'm not convinced of his innocence.

    Watched lots of these Rough Justice documentaries and it always seems obvious the person is innocent and makes you think how on earth they were convicted. With this one I don't feel very convinced at all that he was innocent and that it was suicide.

    Just think, if he had been faithful in his first marriage none of those things would have happened and he'd still be out being a doctor to horses. He brought the whole miserable business on himself, whether he is innocent or guilty, and now the poor children are motherless and also have a father who can't be with them. None of us is perfect and only the couple in the marriage really know the truth but selfish actions have ripple effects which have unforeseen consequences. Such a sad story.

      No-one can practice medicine on the general public without being properly qualified to do so, but you can treat yourself and your family. It would be odd indeed and not in the public interest if a mother was prosecuted for treating her children's minor illnesses, and similarly a wife or husband normally gives their spouse medical attention including over the counter drugs.
      In the past doctors have routinely treated their relatives without it being deemed inappropriate. Where it starts to get blurry is if you have legitimate access to restricted drugs, is it appropriate to use them if needed? It would not be in the public interest to prosecute a pharmacist who injects his own son with adrenaline in an emergency situation. But giving antibiotics or painkillers is more subtle. If a wife has legitimate access to strong painkillers and her husband has a sever tooth infection and a dentist appointment the next day, is it wrong for her to give her husband a painkiller? Would it not be excessively cruel to refuse to give him any treatment if she can do so? However it does then open the door to potential accusations of misconduct. It isn't necessarily as straightforward as it seems.

    Even though I don't know yet, if the vet is been cleared or not, I've enjoyed the show.Please keep bringing them.
    This man might be either a messy professional (which I strongly doubt it) or a very lucky dude who may be out thanks to the incompetence of the police and the prosecutors.
    I wonder how that little community will feel f this vet is found innocent. In any case I wouldn't live in this "perfect place to raise a family" where my neighbours might decide to don't like me, for whatever the reason.

      Rebecca Sweet : in the event one is trying to blame someone else for their death, that would be an easy spot to inject anything for a person who's not really trained . As it was mention on the show, hands and feet are parts of the body where one can see veins clearly.
      For your information: drug addicts who try to hide their vice, usually inject themselves between their toes, or any part of their feet easily covered even wearing flip-flops.

    • @mcfcguvnors

      hard to inject between the toes by yourself , youd go for the main arterial vein on the top of the foot

      That is 4 or 5 of the most ludicrous, asinine things anyone has ever said! You just make things up and pretend you're an expert? To what end? For what gain? Have you done something to a loved one so are feeling guilty and sensitive? Has the vet been giving you injections in your rear end? Shame, shame, shame! Defending someone who hurt the mother of his children. How low can you go? I suspect given a little time you'll show us!

    • @LuciThomasHardylover-qx6ts
      @LuciThomasHardylover-qx6ts 3 місяці тому

      It's not about hiding the drug use, it's running out of veins they can still use. Veins on the top of the feet are quite large and easy to access. After they block and collapse, it's the groin and under the findernails🤢

And Catherine is complice. how convenient she found the note from Sandra. Do not forget she was drugged tired, losing consciousness, so, i believe husband helped her out to write that CONVNIENT note, paper? found after murder, later, when husband appeal is launched.

    Sandra was so upset about the affair she should have known how the first wife felt when they were having an affair when they met, I think she's done a great job of setting him up, when I was nursing drug addicted patients we had to check visitors trying to sneak in drugs for them after leaving we had to check patients for needle marks between the toes and in the eyes where they would pull the eyelids down and inject them drug of choice was mostly heroine in those days and these stupid so called friends if she said she didn't trust him you get her a doctor and police whether either of them want to or not I don't believe he's stupid enough to make it so obvious that it only takes an autopsy to show the drugs how's the front of the next wife to marry him in jail!!!! His marriages runs on affairs the only victims here is the children as usual, when my sister showed she was flattered by a married man who was asking her out my mum said in a very broad Scottish accent
