(Get down to the base of the waterfalls by taking the trail on the side of the main parking lot/trailhead until you get to the top edge of the main waterfall or edge of the creek. Find a safe way to cross the creek. You want to get on the trail that is left of the edge of the creek and follow it edging the top of the bluffs for less than a mile. You'll reach a wooden bridge over the top of another waterfall, about 50 feet or so past that is the 'dog walk' which are a stack of boulder that you can climb down safely. You'll see an emergency first aid kit and backboard at the bottom for reference. Safely get to the bottom and follow the bluff line to your right all the way back to the main waterfall. Use the same path to get back to the main trailhead/parking lot)

We used to camp just about every weekend back in the 80's.At the 1st small waterfall.I can show you that someone carved his name into the rock...back in during the Civil War.

That AirBnB at the beginning was definitely nice and clean compared to my place. Think I might want to move there for "hiking purposes". Trying to keep a house clean with kids in it is kinda like brushing your teeth while eating oreos. 😬
I think that's why I enjoy the outdoors...less clutter. And nature's clutter just looks prettier.
