After arriving in the West Coast of Africa , why do we needed foreign religion to survive, the same entity that has single handily corrupted everything on the face of planet. How on earth an ancient kingdom like the boasting Catholic Church? How is it the young Agyemang Prempeh leaving Ghana, Asanti soil with the tail of an animal, a very strong animal tail with relics on his exile in Seychelles Island for 25 years came back with an European dress as a member of the church of Anglican? Was Okomfo Anokye part of these religious entities? Were/ was our ancestors part of these religions entities? Are we doing these to appease the powers and the hands that unknown to us? Is our spirituality now in the hands of Roman Catholic and the Church of England? What morals do we have here? What heritage and legacies are we leaving for our children and children, children? I admire the honesty and eloquence with which the beautiful Queen and the chiefs have given the historical analysis. The Akans owe a lot to the Denkyiras for being much of the historical practices they are proud of today. It's unfortunate the Akans who migrated here as one people spent centuries fighting amongst themselves.
