    The deeper I delve into Ghanaian Akan history, the more I discover that the Ashantis may have been overrated over the years in Ghana. They are, in essence, just like any other tribe in Ghana. However, their prominence increased notably due to their alliance with the British. The Ashantis were involved in the sale of more coastal people, such as the Ga-Dangbe and Fante groups, to the Danes, Portuguese, and Catholics than all the overripe tomatoes at Mokola Market. As the saying goes, 'empty barrels make the most noise.

    • @stephenboateng9360
      @stephenboateng9360 Рік тому +4

      We had the Gold Coast and the Asante Empire at that time and they fought the British for over 100 years as written in the books by the whites who were part of it at that time. They fought for the independence of this country. Jealous and envied towards Asantes will last forever but we keep growing. We have done a lot for this country, building the first University in the country (legon). Anyone who doesn't appreciate will never be appreciated. FACTS
